Cincinnati Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Share Posted 28 August 2013 Logan- 6 some great songs - we only came to watch conrad and he only plays once a year!, he did not play great, slow and hesitant off his line and think kasper would have saved there 1st goal. Moore- 7 played ok, look slightly out of position as RB, very strong, couple of great blocks and tackles. Nearly scored. Is so obviously our 1st choice CB with wes. Zoumana Bakayogo- 6 looked nervous, couple of errors, couple of good tackles, postionly did not look great, he was reluctant to go forward but look quick and bright when he did. Miquel 6 looks ok on the ball with Good positional play and looked like he talk and organised but just physical to weak for CB, Think he could do ok as a left back. Whitbread 5 Same old, beat in the air too many times, slow and too many hoof balls. Drinkey- 8 Played well, lots of energy, good simple passes, won ball back time after time. Danns 6 Was at fault for 1st goal, looked unfit. Probly because not played much. Can tell quality is there and will have a part to play this season if we keep playing a 3 man midfield in the league. Knockeart - 9 Was good last night, was playing on the wing but drifted all over the park and made stuff happen. Chased back time after time and was not too greedy ( was a couple of times) Took his goal very well. Really could be fantastic as the free man in a 3 man midfield. Dyer 7. Captin for the night up and down the wing. Good pace , good finish. Seemed to tuck in for last 20 mins as he looked as little tired, maybe his age is catching up with him. vardy 8 was good full of running and beat the defenders in the air every time. Should scored in 1st half and did very well to win pen with a cracking run. Wood 7/8 Yes got a hatrick to should have been 6. Missed a couple of sitters. We were along was from 1st goal but looked good. Waghorn 6 Did not look that intersted. Hoops 6 Couple of good headed flicks, looked a bit nervous and passed when he should have shot Schlupp 6 On for about 2 mins, did nothing wrong. Ps- does anyone know, how the lad is who was getting treated by paramedics and club doctor at full time?
Collymore Posted 28 August 2013 Share Posted 28 August 2013 Logan- 6 Took loads of banter from the Leicester fans! "you only play once a year" "He plays when he wants..." Didn't have much to do other than pick the ball out of the net and take some routine catches. Moore- 8 Thought he was excellent tonight and even looked good going forward Zoumana Bakayogo- 6 Didn't really impress me that much. Seemed very one dimentional with simple balls up the line which the Carlisle wide midfileder easily blocked. Miquel 7.5 Looked excellent in the first half whenthe rest were clueless. Oused confidence on the ball from the start. Looks like a great signing. Whitbread 6 Did what he needed to do. Drinkey- 7 Was good second half but we seem to play well as a team when he's on the jazz. So frustrating first half when we had no idea what we were doing at all. Danns 5 School boy play to set up their first goal. Didn't really do a lot. Knockeart - 7 A little wasteful at times trying to do too much. Second half he was brilliant when we were playing well playing in what looked like a free role. Dyer 8. I don't think I've ever seen such poor defending from Carlisle's right hand side in the second half. Over and over again you could have had a relaxing evening stroll down there and wouldn't have been bothered by a Carlisle player all night. It was shocking and how their manager didn't try and fix it is beyond me. Lloyd was terrorising them and a more creative player might have meant more goals. Still Lloyd was fantastic in that 20 minutes. vardy 7 What a difference confidence makes. It's like a new £3m signing for free. Wood 8 Played well second half but couldn't trap a bag of cement first. Could tell his goals meant a lot to him tonight. Waghorn 6 Didn't do a lot. Hoops 6 Won a few in the air. Schlupp 6 n/a
SmithyFox12 Posted 28 August 2013 Share Posted 28 August 2013 Logan - 7 Moore - 8 Miquel - 6.5 Whitbread - 7 Bakayogo - 7.5 Knockaert - 7.5 Danns - 6.5 Drinkwater - 7 Dyer - 9 Wood - 8.5 Vardy - 7.5 Subs; Waghorn - 7 Hopper - 7.5 Schlupp -
Bert Posted 28 August 2013 Share Posted 28 August 2013 Logan 6 - Very little to do, with little chance in either goal. Moore 7 - another solid performance. So impressed with his progression from last season. Zoom 6 - Didn't really have much defending to do. Pace is very handy. Whitbread 6 - Solid in the air. Provided vital experience last night. MiQuel 7 - loves to bring the ball out. Looks decent. Wish people would stop calling him Miguel. Dyer 8 - Flourished with the armband. A goal similar to that v Bolton and an assist. Caused them many a problem. Knocky 7 - Always wanted to be involved. Sometimes tried a bit too much, but scored and you're always excited when he's on the ball. Danns 7 - Massively at fault for the first goal. It was schoolboy stuff. But even though he was rusty, he worked hard got well stuck in and looked to get forward when he could. Drinkwater 7 - played deep and kept things neat and tidy. Got forward when he could. Accomplished performance, but nothing less than you'd expect. Wood 9 - Could've scored 6. Skied a glorious chance after his first after good work from Vardy. A great solo goal, emphatic penalty and a natural strikers finish for his third capped off a decent night. Great determination to win the ball for Dyer's goal in which he claimed an assist too. Vardy 8 - like Moore, I'm really pleased with how he's improved in a short space of time. Won us a penalty and was always a menace with his pace. Subs - Waghorn claimed an assist for Woods' 3rd, but otherwise they all had very little impact on a game that was already won when they were introduced. Cumbria Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Share Posted 28 August 2013 I was there!!! Logan 6 Not a lot to do, couldn't be faulted with either goal Moore 8 Excellent performance, he is just getting better. Bakayogo 7 Got better as the game went on Whitbread 8 A rock, best I've seen him play Miguel 7 Impressive first appearance Knockaert 7 Took his goal well and excellent 2nd half. Danns 5 Robbed for their first goal. Seemed off the pace. Drinkwater 8 Excellent work rate, all over the pitch. Dyer 7.5 Had a brilliant 15 mins. at the start of 2nd half. Wood 8 Poor until he scored his first goal and then wow!! Vardy 8 Very impressive. Could and should have had a couple of goals Can't split Drinkwater, Moore, Whitbread, Wood or Vardy for M.O.M. Overall a very good team performance in the second half, best I've seen in a long time. Sluggish in the first though.
