funkyrobot Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 First we lost Sergio Hellings, then Astrit Ajdarevic, then Ricardo and now Marko Futacs. How can we expect to win anything when we keep getting rid of our best players? Thank god we snapped Logan up for another two years. :0(

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 He's a plodder. A proper plodder. Good move, this - if I remember rightly (think Bert mentioned this) - Pearson was never actually all that keen to start with (Walsh recommendation?). Good riddance.
HitchinFox Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 That's not Futacs. That's Chris Tremlett.
Dan Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Some of the stuff in here is laughable the bloke isn't nearly good enough for our level.
Alf Bentley Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 I hear that Millwall have thrashed out a deal to sign him, £50,000 up front plus £100,000 if they stay up and £25,000 for every goal he scores this season bringing the whole package to a likely total cost of £50,000.
Alf Bentley Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 this is not a comparison.. but it can be compared to racehorses (I own them) Some work very well on the canter, then do nothing on the racetrack. Some are the opposite, if a horse is poor on the racetrack, you dont leave him in the box then sell him after 3 years. Excellent analogy. Likewise, Futacs can usefully be compared to a snail (we get a lot of them in our garden). Some look juicy and plump in the borders, but have an unpleasant, rubbery texture even in the best garlic sauce. Some are the opposite. If a snail is poor in the pot, you can't sell him to the local French bistrot, so you chuck him over the fence. There might be some handy vacancies for chimney sweeps in Budapest, Marko...
Captain... Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Why does it say LOVESEX under his name on that video?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Good goal that. Probably not good enough for us, but then neither is that chump Waghorn.
HitchinFox Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Why does it say LOVESEX under his name on that video? Gólok - goals. Lövesek - shots. Štovábbra is borzasztó játékos - he's still shit.
ryanman4 Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Anyone think he could be involved next year, he's certainly done well for his team this year 18 goals in 19 games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1rk%C3%B3_Fut%C3%A1cs
NGoloMode Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Anyone think he could be involved next year, he's certainly done well for his team this year 18 goals in 19 games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1rk%C3%B3_Fut%C3%A1cs He actually scored 7 in 19 games if you check a reliable source. http://uk.soccerway.com/teams/hungary/diosgyori-vtk/1116/
Eastwellfox Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Seem to think people said the same about Vardy before last season. !
LCFC31 Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Seem to think people said the same about Vardy before last season. ! Yes, but this is different. Futacs really is shit.
Unabomber Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Anyone think he could be involved next year, he's certainly done well for his team this year 18 goals in 19 games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1rk%C3%B3_Fut%C3%A1cs Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him line up as the lone striker on the opening day.
Mack Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Futacs is not shit, he did OK in a couple of appearances and only ever got a few appearances from the bench. Will he be involved next season for us? Highly unlikely, and will be released I would wager.
LCFC FOX Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 Maybe if we was in the championship for another year I may say give him a chance. As we're in the prem no chance.
LAprice_ Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 He's still quite young; loan him out to a Championship team and see what happens. He's not really done much, highly unlikely that he'll ever play for us again BUT he is still our player and should at least be given the chance to improve. Futacs is doing 'okayish' in Hungary. Difficult to properly judge him when he's not playing in England. He won't be on much money, it's not a massive problem if he was to remain out on loan in the Championship. Same can be said for Bakayogo and Logan in my opinion. Can I just point out though, watch the goal that was posted previously, where was the defence?
BoneDog Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 I looked him up a few days ago to see what was cracking and I read an interview with him where he said he was hoping to stay for next season and fight for a spot in our Prem squad. Can't remember where I read it though.
