Lobsterboyuk Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Definitely won't boo although the idea of the Ben Reject song does tickle me!
Dan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 This is not the case, it's just a sign of changing times. In fact I've experienced much worse episodes of fans booing their own team after only 15 minutes of a game. The way Football markets itself these days combined with ticket pricing and the general know all arrogant attitude of a lot of people these days has lead to this nationwide. I agree it's embarrassing. Social media has also played a great part, as it's brought players and fans closer together, and for the players that has meant abuse in the main. I agree with this to be honest. We're not the only ones although we're definitely one of the worse for it.
BrummieFOX Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 A standard two second clap when his name is read out. Yea, this. I really hope we don't boo him.
Captain... Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 It's simple, we give his name a clap and if he acknowledges us, all fine. If he starts giving it the big one during the game and acting like a dick, then give him the old Leicester reject, but I don't think he will.
ADK Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I'd probably boo him. He didn't want to play for us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Just don't do anything. He was here, now he ain't. I'm not afraid of him as a player either. Keep him wide (don't let him cut inside) and he's bang average.
Kitchandro Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I won't clap or boo. I don't think his attitude was good enough or bad enough for either. Booing might wind him up or alternatively it could spur him on.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 He has done nothing to deserve booing. The guy just didn't manage to be all that good for us.
coolhandfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 A mere blip on the history of LCFC, will be forgotten quickly. Hasn't done much ethier way to warrent a good or bad reception!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Wind him up and he'll score. He'll no doubt already be fired up for this if the rumours about a Pearson fall-out were true.
connorlcfc Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 nothing , said bad things about us when he left , didn't like him as a player , didn't try hard enough and had the worst attitude on the pitch if anything the only thing he will get is a boo
Jace Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I think that twitter bird has probably beaten us to it?
Guest MattP Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Ignore him like we don't know who he is. Clapping or booing him would be feeding his ego and more of that is the last thing he needs.
Alf Bentley Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Booing at half time v Birmingham as a prime example. I'm certain we have more wankers than most clubs. From what I've seen, our opponents tonight seem to have more wankers than most, always booing at the first opportunity, just because their team's not winning or a new manager hasn't won every match. Before anyone has a go, I'm sure there are some very nice, intelligent, reasonable Blackburn fans, too...
Guesty Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Nothing at all. But if a load of idiots start booing him I might give him a little clap out of embarrassment. That being said if he does something daft like dive during the game I'll probably join in with Leicester reject, but hope it won't happen.
fox_whirl Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Boo, he clearly has no respect for the fans or the club
Dickov22 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Leave him be. Got enough grief from some of us (not me) at Barnsley. Decent footballer.
Strokes Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Ignore him like we don't know who he is. Clapping or booing him would be feeding his ego and more of that is the last thing he needs. This.Have we missed him. No
Captain... Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 So what reaction did he get? Was unable to listen to the radio last night.
LCFC FOX Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 So what reaction did he get? Was unable to listen to the radio last night. few boos around when his name was announced, more noticeable when he got subbed off and everyone in the stadium pretty much went waaaaaaay
