Mack Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 What does he deserve to get in the way of a reception from our fans? I mean when he first came he looked electric. Then in his latter days he lost complete interest, produced abject performances then left the club taking a back handed swipe about unhappy players and put his poor form down to being homesick for Lancashire despite it only being an hour or so's drive away. What does he deserve from us tonight? Appreciation, derision or maybe just a big fat nothing?
Guest Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Nothing from me. Didn't have a massive impact either way for us and whilst I think he had potential he'll be lost from memory as a city player soon enough personally.
AKCJ Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 A standard two second clap when his name is read out.
Nick Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Respect. Sometimes it doesn't work out at a club for a player - he certainly did us no real ill. (Even if he did head-butt Pearsons daughter, she may have been asking for it.)
hairy Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Pearson's daughter seems to be the root of all evil at the club
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 A clap for me, did nothing wrong while he was here, just very inconsistent and frustrating hence why we sold him. Quality player on his day and doesnt deserve booing
allotment-fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Clap the chap he did his best and thats all anyone can ask, was so pleased for him when that goal went in at Chelsea He's now an ex city player and I wish him well in his future footballing efforts
Finnegan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 A brief, polite clap when his name is read out before kick off and sod all else. Hardly a club legend or a villain.
foxfanazer Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 No doubt you'll get some ****** booing him but as others have said a quick two second applause and move on would suffice. Looked amazing when he first came and will probably do very well somewhere else but looked very ineffectual last season. No hard feelings....next!
hesapeepingtom Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 he deserves a WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 He'll be gettin a clap from me as well as a 5 quid bet to score anytime
Filbert_Ross Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Should do his old song but change it to BEN REJECT
Simmo86 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Clap from me, also backed him to score. Some ****ing ****** will boo him!
Bettsj2 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Booing him would be a bit like booing Alan Maybury. Pointless. Applauding him would be like applauding Phil Gilchrist. Pointless. He scored a few goals and was pretty non descript the rest of the time. Deserves nothing. He's just another player.
GingerrrFox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 He'll get a Leicester Reject from me. Hopefully wind the **** up so he gets sent off and we get an easy 3 points.
red5 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 No one go Barnsley last season? I'll give him what he deserves, a boo everytime he touches the ball.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 No one go Barnsley last season? I'll give him what he deserves, a boo everytime he touches the ball. I feel like telling many of our fans to **** off most of the time. Dont blame him
red5 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I feel like telling many of our fans to **** off most of the time. Dont blame him You serious?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 You serious? 100%. Booing at half time v Birmingham as a prime example. I'm certain we have more wankers than most clubs.
Mack Posted 17 September 2013 Author Posted 17 September 2013 100%. Booing at half time v Birmingham as a prime example. I'm certain we have more wankers than most clubs. This is not the case, it's just a sign of changing times. In fact I've experienced much worse episodes of fans booing their own team after only 15 minutes of a game. The way Football markets itself these days combined with ticket pricing and the general know all arrogant attitude of a lot of people these days has lead to this nationwide. I agree it's embarrassing. Social media has also played a great part, as it's brought players and fans closer together, and for the players that has meant abuse in the main.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Didn't Marshall have a outstanding game in this fixture last season with 2 assists? Never boo!
Dan Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Nothing from me. Didn't have a massive impact either way for us and whilst I think he had potential he'll be lost from memory as a city player soon enough personally. Pretty much this. No booing or applause from me.
