Kyle_Le_Don Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 We do end up going up, will you still be keeping tabs on this league? As much as we've all been anticipating being back in the premier, I do love this league By the way I am a game to game kinda guy, keep ya feet on the ground. BUT, My pants have been tickling me a bit lately.
Unabomber Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Yeah I keep tabs on all the leagues, I bloody love football.
Devonfox1884 Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Best and most competative league in england IMO, although i would obviously love the club to get to the prem! I would definatly still keep tabs on it.
Larry_LCFC Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Prefer the championship as a league full stop. Think the quality of football is brilliant and it is so unpredictable. Still got the values of English football, unlike the Premier League which is now all about a few big clubs fighting it out, a shit load of money and a mass of foreign players.

Bring on the European super league. I used to hate the idea but would welcome it with open arms now.
Russell sprout Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Bring on the European super league. I used to hate the idea but would welcome it with open arms now. Why???
Vlad the Fox Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Why??? The premier league as a competition has gone. It's basically two teams looking to win it, three or four fighting for a champions league spot and pretty much the rest fighting relegation. Survival takes a massive precedence over the cup competitions, and is the be all and end all as teams that should be targeting the cup as a pathway into Europe fields weakened teams so as not to affect their survival chance. To be honest it's a piss poor league. If the big clubs left to join a European super league the money would go with it, there wold be a periodic adjustment but our domestic football would be stronger and more competitive as a result, our national side would benefit from the increased opportunity that our younger players will have due to teams not being filled with average foreigners. Wages would drop which would hopefully stop ridiculous price increases that hit the fans.
nlukka Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Tbh I still watch the L1 highlights on the FLS and watch out for the results. The football may be terrible, but it's so competitive. Maybe I'm being nostalgic because we were only there for 1 year; I definitely wouldn't want to be in Sheff Utd's shoes.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but football wouldn't be the same if there was no premier league. Plus, players would probably be paid more in a 'super league' due to world-class players being even more sought after because in a super league, you could play barcelona one week, then bayern munich the next, so teams like man u would need a much better team than they currently have.

MooseBreath Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 You're only feeling good about this league because we're dominating it. The premiership is the place to be. Would love another few years battling it out with the elite. Even if we do go up we'll be back down soon enough so I wouldn't shed too many tears.
Fox92 Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 I look at all the results from every division, yeah.
PAULCFC Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Still keep in touch with a couple of Hereford fans from our time in L1,Had a great night in the barrells there! So yes i'll still be interested in the lower leagues if we get promoted.....probably won't go to as many matches though!
Xen Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Will always prefer the Championship. I don't really care too much for the Prem right now, truth be told, though obviously that would change while we were in it.
Captain... Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I'm pissed so I don't really care, I think we should cross that bridge when we cum over it.
foxfanazer Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Yeah I follow them all. Championship is a great league
