foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Rosberg making errors as well, seems the Mercedes doesn't seem to have the grip on those super softs that the other teams have. Makes for a very exciting race
Asha Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Felipe baaaabyyyyyy. Should make things exciting tomorrow. Hamilton has a real fight on to finish ahead of Rosberg now.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Felipe baaaabyyyyyy. Should make things exciting tomorrow. Hamilton has a real fight on to finish ahead of Rosberg now. Hamilton has a massive job ahead of him tomorrow... He will be fortunate to see Rosberg only got third and was struggling as well
Jimothy Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 I'm getting bored of this season already. Whens the touring cars start? Already beginning to lose interest, this Hamilton domination is worse than Vettel's, I actually hope he gets back into the game. It really is the shittest high profile motorsport there is. Never going to be as good as it used to be. Imagine the hoo-haa if Vettel was in Hamilton's position now. What a borefest. But we know where this is going. Mercedes will have it wrapped up by Hungary. Compare it to the 2006, 2007 and 2008 seasons which were the best of recent years. Let's not pretend that just because our British boy is winning that it's any more exciting. Bahrain aside, it's been ****ing ages since there's been any doubt past about lap 3 over who would win the race, and that's the problem. I love F1 but I was fvcking bored out my face today. Whoever it is taking the win, the fact that there's no challenge or surprise makes it really dull. Mercedes have so much of an advantage that we can safely say they won't suddenly be caught in Barcelona. Like someone said earlier, this'll be wrapped up by the end of the European season. I said in response to all these just wait, we haven't reached Europe it back after the 4th race. Now we've had a Ricciardo win and the Mercs have been out paced by the Williams in qualifying here. Not quite over yet is it?!? And Hamilton's not even leading the title race! Hamilton domination my arse!

Hamilton domination my arse! Indeed, far from over, Mercedes have had reliability issues in two races which has cost Hamilton big time and it seems both Mercedes drivers are struggling for grip on the super soft tyre. Mercedes still have a lot of work to do others are improving.

Gonna have to go some to get all the races in now if we're back at Australia!
iamafox Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 I think Williams will be extremely disappointed if they don't win tomorrow. They've shown good pace in the FP sessions and both of their drivers have qualified on the front row of the grid. This is their perfect chance for maximum points.
isaidno Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 If Rosberg drops a few places at the start , it will be a cracking race
Asha Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Massa is like 3/1 to win, which is crazy for a guy on pole position. Williams 7/4. I know Mercedes are strong but surely Rosberg isn't going to gleam off into the distance. Hoping they'll at least make a race of it.
Amin Posted 21 June 2014 Author Posted 21 June 2014 I still expect Rosberg to win tomorrow, but hopefully he'll have to work for it.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 What a start from Hamilton, right behind Rosberg in fourth in 1 lap... and Vettel out! Seems Vettel is back in but a lap down
Jimmy Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 great opening lap for Lewis sets the race up brilliantly now
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 is it me or does Lewis' stop always seem to be slower? It is frustrating to see it go wrong for Hamilton while Rosberg just seems to be getting all the luck... It was a very slow stop in comparison.
Jimmy Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 It is frustrating to see it go wrong for Hamilton while Rosberg just seems to be getting all the luck... It was a very slow stop in comparison. Now even slower he needs to be blasting them for this
wakeyfox01 Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 Now even slower he needs to be blasting them for this Rosberg's stop a second quicker now which ensures he comes out ahead of him
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 Now even slower he needs to be blasting them for this Yes cost him almost 2 seconds to Rosberg over the two stops... but he is in front of Bottas now...
Jimmy Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 Toto Wolfe's pre race comments didn't even mention Lewis seems to be some obvious favouritism
Jimothy Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 Toto Wolfe's pre race comments didn't even mention Lewis seems to be some obvious favouritism He actually said his ideal finish would be Rosberg followed by the two Williams!
Jimmy Posted 22 June 2014 Posted 22 June 2014 He actually said his ideal finish would be Rosberg followed by the two Williams!Exactly but Brundle bottled asking him "what about Lewis?"
