lol if it was Rosberg claiming that he had something in his eye you would probably destroy him for it, but good old Lewis never lies  I found it interesting that he didn't want to talk about it in the interview

He was never going to pass Rosberg anyway, but why would he lie and drop back so dramatically? No reason to let Ricciardo back in with a chance like that, he had the pace to keep up with Rosberg. Think about it logically and stop being a tool.

What benefit does Lewis get from lying?

Although I do wonder how you can drive a formula one car without vision from one eye, and not being able to remove whatever it was.

Hamilton needs to borrow Ballotellis"why always me" t shirt....petulant child!

No legend driver in the history of F1 (Schumi, Mansell, Senna, Fangio, etc etc) could have won from the position Hamilton was in today.

Robbed of a chance of the all-important pole (50/50 whether it was intentional imo) and then robbed of a chance to pass in the pitstops because of the SC.

Monaco is just shite, the media love fest following another dull procession makes it even more irritating.

Monaco is interesting and it threw up some different results like Bianchi getting 9th for Marussia. Truth is Hamilton got robbed of the chance to take pole and robbed of the chance to under/over cut in the pits. I'd be at least a little frustrated too.

lol in all my time on here I think Horse's Mouth is the biggest tool I've came across.

Agreed

Well I'm struggling to support Lewis this season tbh.

Firstly he talks the team over the radio like a spoilt boy who's the victim of a conspiracy plot to see Rosberg win.

He then goes on in a media statement that he is hungrier than Rosberg because he can remember sleeping on his dad's sofa and Rosberg grew up around the bright lights of Monaco. Lewis Hamilton from the projects, opportunless and destitute racing go carts every week. Who's to say the pressure on Rosberg isn't greater due to expectancy and the motivation higher as a result? Daft and childish interview lacking understanding and empathy trying to state Rosberg is a spoilt brat and making himself look like one in the process.

So did Rosberg intentionally cheat? Stewards thought not. Did Lewis look ever like being close to make a move? No.

Then there is something in his eye - true or not the world thinks maybe he needs a reason to be slower than his team mate than fact his team mate was faster in 2 out of 3 sectors.

Want to support Lewis as a talented British driver and a misunderstood competitor but he's not making it easy.

Lewis yesterday wasn't close to Rosberg in the race, he admitted has much... Saturday is when Monaco is won, so to have your chance taken away from you whether accidently or purposely from the person that is your only true challenger to winning the title is quite hard to take for anyone...

At the end if the day he had something in his eye, so was struggling why do you think he lost so much time to Rosberg, I don't know but if I had something in my eye when driving around at 200mph I'm sure I would mention it and see if I could find some sort of solution...

Rosberg and Hamilton have been friends since kids, last year they got on brilliantly but this is now the F1 world championship at stake, there are no friends to be had and any edge gained whether on or off the track is vital. Rosbergs celebration after taking pole was about mind games, despite taking it in such circumstances he wanted to rub it in to Hamilton. Had that been last year Rosberg wouldn't celebrate and would have apologised. But everything is different when the title is on the line...

Rosberg gained the upper hand this weekend due to unfair means. He's set his stall out now so there won't be any fair play between the pair of them from now on.

Move on to the next one. What goes around comes around, this will come back to haunt Rosberg at some point in the season.

Agreed, Rosberg has set the stall... people saying Hamilton should be all smiles are idiots, have they even played sport before at any level and had someone take a win away from you under controversial circumstances. This is the F1 World Chanpionship lol, to have your rival pretty much winning a GP because he crashed out in qualifying is hard to take, Monaco is won on that Saturday....

For anyone to have anything against Lewis you must be no F1 fan, or just bitter because he is English and has talent, so it is cool to hate I guess, in this country we rarely have sportsman who can seriously win but when we do we just like to put them down and support the foreign guy. Rosberg for me clearly gained an edge by reversing and keeping the yellow flag out, now I'm not ripping into him for doing so, I find that pretty impressive thinking. But I hate those thinking Hamilton should just sit back and not say anything lol he wouldn't win f all doing that...

Lewis is use to his rival trying to gain an edge through whatever means, alonso resorted to such tactics to try and stop him when Hamilton was a rookie....

It is like Murray he wins things, but he Scottish not British.... so we can't support him, we must all rip into him and put him down at every opportunity. We don't like winners in this country and that is fact.

what are you on about, Lewis is the great professional on the grid and greatest driver of our generation, how dare you doubt him

One of the biggest gripes I have with people is when they wish failure on a sportsperson/team more than they wish success for those they support/follow.

Yes i'm talking about you THM. #obsessed

That is false, I just don't eat up Hamilton's lies. and besides, him missing out on points only makes the season more interesting because of how one sided it is. It's the same as the stuff with Vettel last year really, only reason you're getting onto my case is because there are more HamFams than Sebites.

Posted

One sided?? He's not even leading the Championship.

Lets make sure he DNF's for the next 3 races so that Rosberg wins all 3 and has a near 100pt lead. That would make it interesting wouldn't it

Seriously, whats your reasoning for Hamilton using something in his eye as an excuse? What would he have to gain from falling so far back he's being chased closely by the Red Bull?

Posted

Theres only one thing to say about it really...

Cheating German Bastard

Hope he crashes & burns

Hate cheats in Sports

Abit OTT considering there's no evidence he cheated.
