Pearson said on radio leicester yestaday that they have 'things' in place for January,''whether they happen or not' in a confident voice, made me think how can we buy someone in jan with no money, answers what I was thinking,

Fair play to the owners,Xmas come early

I wouldn't expect extra signings in Jan, this is to probably bring us bang in line with ffp. Come the summer, if still in this league, we should be able to get very good players in for those whose contracts have expired. Competition will be weak in comparison.

That's how I understand it anyway.

Fair play to the owners for sorting out the mess they got themselves into. It will be interesting to see what happens in January, how much of the £10 mllion can be used by Pearson. It also makes the players contract situation quite intriguing, which I for one now feel is in the clubs favour.

So thanks for sorting it Top and co, merry Xmas and remember a dog is not just for Xmas, it's for the new year as well.

Am I the only one who doesn't think it's a good idea and doesn't want us to now go and spend big in January?

Were probably still operating at a loss every year. If we can get some contracts sorted (most importantly Nigel Pearsons) and one new player to strengthen our promotion push, we'll be in a very good place for the rest of this season.

As people have said, this probably won't affect the short term of the club much but if we can secure ourselves mid to long term, that is superb news indeed.

Absolute incredible intent and commitment by our owners, these guys really are brilliant in my opinion.

A song for them (sod the cheesiness) is more than deserved.

25 miles down the M69 shoes what we could have been dealt!

P.s on a forum that doesn't always praise the pro's, instead focuses on the negatives, it's great (non patronising :-) that were all showing our gratitude.

I know it's all conjecture but I had the impression we are there about with FFP, maybe a little on the wrong side but nothing like the it has been

Has to be the way to go unless Pearson coukd be gone at the end of the season, either way it gives who ever is in charge a clean slate

You might be right, I just see it as a move of last resort, rarther than for a final final push. Maybe I'm being harsh.

If we don't chant that's crap, FFS we used to chant for Martin George who invested a pack of cheese and onion crisps and a pork pie, these fellas have gone 100 million

What chat did we have for Martin George, I really don't remember that. Other than sack the board.

Fantastic news!

Now we can appoint a mental foreign manager who can bring in 10-15 new players in the summer.

He's coming home, he's coming home, he's coming Maynard's coming home!

Guaranteed promotion now! It's only a matter of time till we are in the champions league

Its fantastic as it means were no longer paying the loans back either which will free more capital to invest in the squad. Although it wont bring back the free spending we had under sven it will mean pearson can compete with other championship clubs in January
