BBC reckon'The Foxes thoroughly deserved the victory'

...the Foxes made them pay with a blistering second-half display.

no mention of whether the first goal should have counted or not

Even though he's only missed two out of the countless ones this season? He's still had a good return.

3 isn't it? I do agree that he has a good return with the amount he's took but me personally just thinks he looks rather casual. Considering this is the first time in his career he's been the main penalty taker he's done well.

I mentioned Konchesky as he took his penalty well against Blackpool and he can strike a ball so hard & clean. Maybe we should have just kept Gallagher for his penalty taking lol

I think the problem is that ( if there is a problem) because he has taken so many this season that the keepers have started to work out how he takes them, but no player scores every single penalty especially as how many he has taken,

Didn't enjoy the blasting of hail during kick off or the impossible conditions in the first half that spoiled any chance of decent football. Not always 100% going forwards but our organisation and industry when under pressure was pretty consistent, still managed some sublime play in the second half, ripping through boro...

Maybe he needs to vary them a bit. Smash one top corner, place one bottom corner, chip one down the middle....

I can't remember, I just know it's not a lot given the amount he's already taken. :D Yeah, I wouldn't mind konchesky as a penalty taker, but I think nugent would have to miss more for that to happen. Seems like we just assume we're gonna get a penalty every other game! :P *not complaining :P

They looked more dangerous than us in the first half I thought, but as soon as we got the (slightly dubious..) first goal and the pitch dried out a bit, we started playing our stuff and the game didn't really look in doubt.

Great to hear Liam doesn't have any broken ribs, Wes was a monster, club record run, 8 points clear, can't complain!

It was great play by Vardy I thought made it all himself as he had nothing on. We've a had lot of penalties this season and all bar one I've thought have been stonewall.

1st half rain and borough were on top...second half we came into our own with some lovely passing...the ball was over the line...but who gives!!!!!

I can never concentrate on what matty james is saying for the sheer volume of "you knows" he says

Same as Vardy..the amount of times he says "yeah yeah" literally makes my lad and I laugh.

New chant? "Jamie Vardy..thats what I say,I say yeah yeah..Jamie Vardy.."..repeat to fade.

To the tune of some awful 80's track I can't remember atm.

Someone on a QPR forum just made a very good point.

If QPR win their game in hand and then beat us at the KP then they're 2 points behind.

Yes crucial part of this statement is ..............IF

Removed due to error in QPR game date

They may not be conceding many but they are they are not scoring freely either.  Boro had not conceded in 5 of the previous 6. Now is the time for LCFC as a whole to believe.

I know we are a long way short of being promoted but the base is laid and the foundations are in place. I thought boro were one of the best teams we have seen at home this season. Would love to win at brum to set that new record.

Talking to some blokes who went down the game in the Kings Head. One was a Pearson doubter. Said the improvement from last year was not down to him.

they showed the goals on the TV and some were singing Jamie Vardy's having a party. One did say he sat in L1.

Anyone on here went in the Kings Head? I was sitting at the bar.

If if but maybe if if but perhaps maybe.....shut the fcuk and just enjoy a win ffs!!!

So who did that **** say it was down to then?

I wouldn't say he was one of those. Seemed a friendly enough bloke. He just said if it was down to him why did we play shit five years ago.

I did not agree with him of course. Left him discussing it with his mates and came home.

Pretty boring game, neither team played amazing but got the all important 3 points, taking conditions into account we didn't play bad.

It really is looking like our year, whilst i'm not getting too excited and carried away, I'm certainly starting the use the phrase 'It's ours to lose'.

Onto Birmingham now...

C'mon lads!
