Finnegan Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Mike Phillips always loses it. He has a strop when we're winning.
Guest Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 wales were poor again. Now for the worst kicker in 6 nations football. Daddy's boy.
FoxyPV Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Lovely performance. Kept the intensity high and forced Wales into errors. Some lovely kicking from Sexton to find touch. Deserved win even though Wales were shite. Onwards to a traditional defeat in Paris.
Dr The Singh Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Comfortably the most inept 80 minute performance I've seen in the Gatland era. ****ing useless from Wales. Ireland hugely professional, done the basics well but haven't needed to get up the gears at all. Sexton motm easily. I can't understand the loyalty to Priestland. I'm a Scarlets fan and I like him but he's easily the weak link in that backs division. Wales are the new England
Bert Posted 8 February 2014 Author Posted 8 February 2014 Wales are the new EnglandWe've never been that arrogant.
Vacamion Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 The pitch is just awful. I played on better pitches for the Fifths against prison sides back in the olden days... You can't scrummage if you can't get a foothold.
Sparky Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Nice to win to nil but Scotland were poor. Beating Wales at Twickers is an absolute must.
Vacamion Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 So Wales were dicked by Ireland and Cardiff getting pumped by Swansea. Wouldn't like to be a copper in Cardiff tonight....
Nalis Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Job done as far as England are concerned, crap match for the neutral. Wales v France and Ireland v England in a fortnights time should be great games!
Super_horns Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Scotland poor and totally dominated. On the basis of the 2 games played they won't score a try...
Tielemans63 Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Great win for Ireland - Sexton was bloody brilliant and tactically Schmidt has to take the plaudits. The Welsh look exhausted already. A win at Twickenham and it's really on. Having said that, I think England will take that game - they should have put 40 on the Jocks and were the best side for an hour in Paris. I think England will win the title.
AndWhat? Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 I've lived in Wales too long. I'm actually looking forward to the match tonight.
Finnegan Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Getting so fed up of Rhys Priestland kicking the ball away when we're ticking through the phases.
Finnegan Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 France have been terrible. Almost as bad as we were last week, maybe even worse. Their passing has been staggeringly awful. Time for them to admit Bastareaud is a one trick pony that's out of date in the modern game. When you have players in rugby like Roberts, North, Tuilagi, SBW, Folau and Co who are enormous as well as skilful and quick, why put a slow, fat prop at centre?
Finnegan Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Looking at the points difference, it's really Irelands to lose if they win tomorrow. Might actually have to cheer for England for the first time ever. Worrying.

Maybe the jocks turned up as the French? . Ominous for France after how the first five minutes went for them.

Yeah, I never felt they were ever going to be ahead after the first penalty. Was always pretty confident we'd win our home games, though. I fancy us more to beat England than I did Ireland, frankly, but that doesn't mean I'm exactly brimming with confidence. The Ireland game highlighted an obvious weakness in our armour that England are far more equipped to exploit than France were. We'll see. Tomorrow could be both very interesting and immensely dull.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 For such a proud rugby nation, it's poor that Wales have a foreign manager.

Vacamion Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 That was fvckin brutal. Many a tackle you could hear the air being crunched out of the ball carrier. Great character, England.
Finnegan Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Thanks for that, chaps, keeps us nicely in it. Dick you and the sweaties and the record could well be ours.
Nalis Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 What an open championship this is turning out to be! Gutted with the result yesterday but England deserve it. Would even go as far as saying the scoreline flattered us if I'm being brutally honest.
