Stadt Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 If used safely (not throwing or dropping it) in an appropriate area like L1 or the kop with stewards that are well trained then yes.
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I personally hate them. They are sooo out of fashion! The bottoms tend to get wet when you're walking in them too. Bergundy stay press were my thing. PS.....let me know if you want help with creating cool polls.
Guest Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 No. This ain't the 70s. Wear some jeans with sensible sized lower sections or get out!

!-LCFC-! Posted 27 January 2014 Author Posted 27 January 2014 Haha, bit of a rushed poll. Didn't know what to put. I was discussing it today and just wanted to see other peoples opinions of them. Of course they should not be used in the Family stand though, like the boro game. Fvcking Ridiculous whoever did it and threw it!
Blanesta Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I think we need an 'Allowed but not in the family stand option' I'd go for that.
C-man Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Not unless they are fully choreographed and done en masse in a designated area. Seeing as none of the above is likely to happen, ever, my answer is no. At the end of the day, people need to remember that they are illegal in public - not just at football grounds. Having said that the punishments dished out at football are totally disproportionate to the 'crime'.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Light one near me and you will become a life size smoke breathing popsicle.
Fox92 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 No. I hate them and don't get why some people are obsessed with them. It doesn't "add to the atmosphere".

Reminds me of this http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/80562-leicester-fans-respond-to-a-ban-on-flares-in-the-stadium/?hl=flares
Leicesterpool Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 They are colourful and sometimes can create that extra atmosphere but they are extremely dangerous! You have to remember they are also explosives, so on safety grounds a "no"
Harry - LCFC Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 When you say flares do you include smoke bombs as a lot of people mistakenly do? The two aren't the same.
Harry - LCFC Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 In that case yes, although it's still not an answer I'm fully happy to give as flares (actual flares) seem quite dangerous.

LCFC FOX Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Flares are more dangerous than Smoke bombs. Flares debatable but still good to see on promotion day. Smoke bombs should be allowed yes. If they was legal people would hold them up high above there heads
