We aren't a family club anymore!

The five year olds are likely to become life long ST holders ;)

Seriously though it winds me up when people claim that one sectIon of fans is more important than another

The club must really annoy you then, cause it's pretty obvious families are their main priority.

Superb, all their efforts to satisfy their beloved families and it's not award winning.

Maybe now they can concentrate some efforts on other sections of the fanbase.

I was referring to fans belittling other fans. It's mainly the younger fans that do it like its mainly the younger fans that do stupid things like throw smoke bombs into the family stand

Young people in doing stupid things shocker!

I'm sure you have gone through your entire life without making a single mistake.

Most of you don't appear to have much exposure to the joys of the corporate mindset!

Moving forward they'll be looking to perform a paradigm shift and enact a sea change to push the envelope and proactively engage and reach out to the families with a new vigour to grab the low hanging fruit and make sure the needs of this demographic are fulfilled to the degree that the FL will correct this travesty next season and restore the club back to where they want to be as *the* family friendly match day experience...

Yeah, until they realise once they hit their mid to late teens the club don't actually want to know them any more.

Besides, I don't recall the club having to do much to draw me in when I was a child in the mid-90s? The excitement of seeing an Everton fan in a black jacket get wrestled to the ground on the Filbo pitch by a copper was more than enough.

Well, that and the prospect of Phil Gee coming off the subs bench...

I still say football SHOULD be all about families as if you take families away from football you are taking the lifeblood away from clubs ands getting supporters when they are young

Tut I was really hoping we'd win the community club of the year award aswell!

Oh well promotion will have to do I suppose 🎉

(Did anyone sense the sarcasm?) ðŸ˜

The problem is not the families I'm sure even they want decent atmosphere too the problem is the corporate management that have to meddle with everything to make it look like they have a job to do

Not all about them, but I agree it would be incredibly moronic to try driving them away altogether - If you supported Leicester since you were a kid it should be obvious why.

Yes many a time a young kid has come with his mum/dad to theer first football match and got hooked and are still supporting them today, it would be a shame if we drove them away altogether just to try and get a better atmosphere (SUPPOSEDLY)

Nobody has to be driven away.

It might sound ridiculous but maybe families, adolescents and childless adults can co-exist in a football stadium.

Ironically we probably had a better family atmosphere in the nineties / early noughties than we do now, a period where the club is striving for it and loves putting the kibosh on anything that doesn't have rounded edges.

When I was a kid and went down my dad accepted that overhearing a few swear words was part and parcel and it never did me any harm, why a "family atmosphere" necessarily has to mean people sat on their hands for ninety minutes I've no idea.

As I said, it never did me any bad, quite the opposite - I spend my life wanking into KFC wet wipes and crying.

The second best thing after the whole being at the game as a kid was the fact someone next to you would spend 90 minutes calling everyone a cúnt. I used to love it.

Speaking of families at football have to say I did laugh in the queue for a beer just before Half Time at St Andrews on Tuesday.

Young girl asking her Mum, "Who is Charlie and whats he to do with Vardy?"

We all started laughing and she looked at us like we were evil. She muttered something along the lines of its his friend or something and it was his birthday lol, I was pretty out of it myself.
