Same here but fantastic effort from everybody and Ian for answering oh and just running a marathon or something.

It has shown that he doesn't know much more than we do though, obviously he'll know more about the current players on a personal level but a lot of what he said about the board and non-playing staff was his opinion.

Regardless, fair play Ian.

Promotion/Recognition for his commentary style here?

His commentary 'style' is nothing like what they usually have for reporters. Suspect it's probably convenience as much as anything

For any RL listeners who don't know (probably all do as Stringer has broadcast it often enough) hes not doing the Wba or Swansea games as he's on holiday.

Listening figures should go up for sure

He's actually quite articulate, and certainly passionate about Leicester. People may not agree with everything he says and occasionally his enthusiasm leads him to say silly things e.g. he often finishes a statement of opinion with the phrase 'end of' as if to say no one is allowed to disagree, but I suspect the radio bosses think that it just shows he 'talks like a real fan and not a middle class journalist'.

On the whole though, he really is a fan and conveys excitement in his voice, and that's a lot better than many local radio presenters, so people are very unfair to keep criticising him.

I like that he's a fan and gets excited, but he doesn't half as some stupid questions and then backs it up with "... I'm just asking what the fans want".

My respect for him had somewhat declined when he tried to indirectly wind Pearson up post-matches, as if he had no personal respect for him. He knew Pearson could say the wrong thing.

He may disagree on this but I'm not the only one with this opinion.

But when Ranieri was here, he softened his stance and that allowed Ranieri to answer questions effectively without awkwardness.

Thanks for that Ian
