LMlcfc Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He pushed him. This stuff happens in the playground everyday. but if this happened in the middle of play are you saying the ref would not of sent him off?
StanSP Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 It looks like they want to restrain him but are almost scared of what he'll do if they do Eat them.
LMlcfc Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Yeah forgot to say this has jack all to do with Konch's incident. The FA will treat it as separate incidents if they even look in to this. I know it's not revelant, but if the ref can give a red for konchesky and not for Reid, is that not A little bias? Surely it would back up our appeal and make the FA think a red card situation gets ignored then it might make them think twice about koncheskys card.
Bert Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 but if this happened in the middle of play are you saying the ref would not of sent him off?I don't know what a "play are" is so I couldn't answer your question.
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Is James encroaching? Very marginal if he is and certainly not the yard davies was spouting on about.
LMlcfc Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He pushed him. This stuff happens in the playground everyday. and he made contact with Phillips, which isn't allowed , which should be a red, and it's not a tap either..
LMlcfc Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I don't know what a "play are" is so I couldn't answer your question. forgot the comma, give it a rest please
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I doubt the FA would use a fans YouTube clip as evidence for such instances. reid is a failed premier league **** though.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 So Koncheskey should have his appeal accepted because Reid pushed Philips? ok logic
cambridgefox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He pushed him. This stuff happens in the playground everyday. According to a guy at work,he should have walked for that arms raised with intent.Case closed then. Was this not similar to Norwich away( last Sousa game) with Fryatt and he walked.now that was a grim night and seems a long time ago. This however had nothing to do with Koncheskys tackle, totally different incident ,I know my eyes were hurting from those screens in the corner, but i wasn't surprised it was a red,I wouldn't moan about either decisions though.
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Worth a booking but he hasn't actually hit him so he'd have stayed on the pitch had the ref saw it.
Guest ttfn Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 What is Reid doing there?! Phillips picks the ball up and starts jogging back with the ball, presumably to the centre spot. Forest had the extra man. Surely he'd want to get it re-started?
Fatbloke Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 one has nothing to do with the other and Konchesky's red won't get over turned either, he went in studs up shin high Wrong pal, not studs up at all just a good hard tackle, remember Walshie on Hopkin at Wembley ??
deep blue Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 People are getting carried away as it's Forest and Andy Reid. Phillips has no right to get the ball either, it's Forests after we have scored. Had that been Knockaert doing it to Andy Reid after Forest had equalised against us I don't think we'd all be calling for Tony to be banned for it. The rules surely only state that the goal is followed by Forest's KO. I doubt very much there's anything said about who may or may not deliver the ball to the centre circle.

Forest had the extra man. Surely he'd want to get it re-started? I think Andy Reid couldn't see what Phillips had picked up properly and mistaken the ball for a cake

I doubt very much there's anything said about who may or may not deliver the ball to the centre circle. Yeah so it's not our ball, no specific rule of course but it isn't. After a score in basketball, a try in rugby etc the scoring team don't run and get the ball to try and make the other team kick off quicker, don't see why footy is different. If they waste time getting it back the ref should add it on.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 What is Reid doing there?! Phillips picks the ball up and starts jogging back with the ball, presumably to the centre spot. Forest had the extra man. Surely he'd want to get it re-started? There is no way Phillips would have headed to the centre circle with that ball. He'd have been in the corner celebrating with it and only giving it back when we were calm and ready to start the match again. And it's little things like that which have made a difference to the overall mentality of our squad in seeing out results this season.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 1. It has nothing to do with the Konchesky tackle. 2. It's handbags at best, if you really want to see players banned for things like that football isn't for you. 3. Phillips actually has no right to get the ball, it's Forest's after we score. So surely Kasper shouldn't have got another yellow...
Guest MattP Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 So surely Kasper shouldn't have got another yellow... How are the two incidents similar? From what I gather Kasper was booked for time wasting ie throwing the ball away. (Even though he didn't)
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Playground stuff by Reid. Some people have sour grapes, because of a cynical tackle.
Jace Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Its a conspiracy refs don't like us, how many penalties have we had this season again?
tylesta Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 its not like andy reid tries to take the ball from philips he runs at him with speed with a elbow out of frustration. the refs sees all of that incident straight red for reid
tylesta Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 reid is actually stood still while kp his picking the ball up. not as though momentum has took him towards kp.
