Tielemans63 Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Love that his solution to a lack of goals was to bring in Modibo Maiga So many strikers, no goals. Shame.
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Losing Austin was a huge blow to them. Just about the only decent striker at the club. Fook knows why he's relied on the likes of Johnson and the like for so long. Too old, too injury prone. Redknapp should have gone out and signed another striker, rather than all his fookin midfielders. Poor management on his part that. To be fair he did. Maiga, Keane and that Brazilian bloke. I do agree with you though, he should've had back up ready in the summer in case he were to lose Austin. Ended up being forced to go for sub-standard loan players which don't appear to be up to the task at all.
Fox92 Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Well I hope Wigan come up anyway because I've always liked them, another well run club... Burnley have impressed me this year and deserve it too, but Dyche just annoys me "ohh yeah we are just too good".

No need to settle for shite Signing any old crap that agents shove under your nose is no way to build a promotion winning Championship squad

He did, Maiga from West Ham. payed a million as well according to a Hammers mate to loan him until the end of the year, said he's just about the worst striker he has ever seen in a West Ham shirt. QPR fans seem to think the same already.
Uncle Monty Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Just watched the four year plan on netflix. My word that made QPR look like a joke, and that saw them get promoted! At the expense of everyone but their fans, long may the joke continue.
BHAFC Braders Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Only one team in it 'arry ? bit different to the game I witness (Okay slight biased but still)
Guest MattP Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 'Arry's bench tonight, and he needs more players? 4 current Internationals and a 9million midfielder. Substitutes18 Aaron Hughes 19 Nico Kranjcar 20 Karl Henry 26 Danny Murphy 35 Yossi Benayoun 36 Gary O'Neil 40 Madibo Maiga
deejdeej Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Personally I was delighted when Austin got injured as I hoped their goals would dry up and that's exactly what has happened. If Barnsley fans think we're cheaters financially then what the hell does that make QPR?!?!

When did that happen?
Guest MattP Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 As in Danny Murphy, as in former Liverpool, as in another midfielder? When did that happen? whoops! It's Bryan Murphy not Danny! Just assumed as he was ex Prem, old and on a big contract he had turned up there.
Soar Fox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 As in Danny Murphy, as in former Liverpool, as in another midfielder? When did that happen? Just had a look on sky sports and it's not Danny Murphy it's actually a goalkeeper called Briam Murphy. Never heard of him myself.Edit: beaten to it by Matt.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 QPR could still make a late run I suppose However play offs at best me thinks
Guest MattP Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 I meant at the start of the season. Like CCstar said, it's difficult to get the right player in when you're desperate. And even more so when the only line of inquiry seems to be to ring up your old clubs asking to borrow someone. I genuinely think he's lost the drive and love of trying to find a player anymore, every signing either seems to be a high price star everyone knows about, a call to Spurs/West Ham or a ex one he has worked with. Might be time to hang up/put away his brown envelopes and think about enjoying his retirement.
WinslowFox Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Think Harry could be haunting the dole office soon
Guest Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Think Harry could be haunting the dole office soon Nah he's sorted, his dog has been investing his money for him
fuchsntf Posted 12 March 2014 Author Posted 12 March 2014 The reality of tonight's game, apparently, was that QPR controlled it and got hit with two sucker punches. They were the better team. Scoring goals is their problem. One that Arry should have sorted out. In the last 5-6 games its been poor defending thats let them down, tonight they could of got away with a draw. Tonights loss game has blown the balloon on this , my thread. I really thought QPR had it in them to turn it around. IMO their top players still playing simply dont believe. In fact the thread of 'harrys haunting' has lost its spirit. If not careful Harrys haunting could be what will happen if he cant guarantee playoffs. But my thread was a source of humour and good postings, which was what I was hoping for.

Burnley have impressed me this year and deserve it too, but Dyche just annoys me "ohh yeah we are just too good". Dyche is doing his job and more. He doesnt degrade or put other teams down , and its true they are just too good. In Interviews he shows respect to other managers. His team shows a stubbornes not unlike Pearsons troup. He earns my respect simply cos he just gets on with it. He will be tested when City go there and get a result, with some dubious descisions.

I still expect them to make play offs though. Not that that's any huge achievement.
Buce Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 You could well be right. I can't think of them signing any relative punknowns this season. I still expect them to make play offs though. Not that that's any huge achievement. If they do make the play-offs, it will only because the teams around them are inconsistant. Qpr's current form is relagation form.
Fox92 Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 whoops! It's Bryan Murphy not Danny! Just assumed as he was ex Prem, old and on a big contract he had turned up there. To be fair, I know why you'd assume that!
Socks Posted 12 March 2014 Posted 12 March 2014 their still deluded, according to their fans (apart form us and Burnley, oh and apparantley they outlpayed us) every other team and the style of football they play in the Championship is "atrocious" jokers
Guest Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 So...... This run then..... When exactly will you be starting it Harry?
