Corky Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 ah... 'Cretin' this time. You like your disparaging remarks dont you. Can't we ever just have a conversation without such comments being brought in? Personally, I remain in the view that Morrison could be an excellent bit of business for QPR and that the 'yet another signing, in this case, could be the key one. Lets be honest, having made so many signings, Arry had to get one right! Its law of averages.. Good for him, spend millions and eventually get one right. Superb transfer strategy.
Haydos Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I insulted you regarding one absolutely ridiculous post you made for which I apologised. I didn't call you a cretin Col. I said you'd have to be a cretin to believe they hadn't spent a fortune to bring him in. The last couple of sentences are fair enough. I still think they're very dangerous and Morrison should be a good signing. I don't think bringing him in is exactly a master stroke by 'Arry (he's not a wheeler-dealer you know...) Col's a QPR apologist, it's to be expected

Out Foxed Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 Harry's column in the sun today was hilarious. half a page of excuses. He said the championship was hard because Leicester have premiership experience Forest won the European cup Leeds were in a champions league semi final one of the funniest things i have ever read.

No way! Unbelievable! How many people at the club were here last time we were in the PL, ten years ago? Forest's European cup victory is ancient history, and I can't even remember Leeds' Champions League semi. Mid 90's was it? What? Leicester, who are suffering their longest spell outside the top flight, have PL experience, but QPR, who were there a matter of months ago, don't?
Father Ted Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I reckon 9 or 10 points from our next four games of Barnsley, Blackpool, Blackburn and Yeovil will put us in an unassailable position. Nothing to worry about with these clowns.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 People worry way too much about shiiiiit that may or may not happen. Sit back and relax. Que sera, sera.
Corky Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 People worry way too much about shiiiiit that may or may not happen. Sit back and relax. Que sera, sera. Col can't, I think he's a got a tenner on QPR getting promoted or Harry has invited him to his gaff for a promotion knees-up.

foxfanazer Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 QPR are not a threat to us at all now imo. Beating Birmingham is hardly sending out a warning message.

I agree to some extent, although apparently Morrison had a fantastic game and looked like he was really hungry for the ball - and that could make a difference to them. I think what most so-called QPR-apologists (me included) are trying to point out is that QPR are nailed-on for the play-offs, and may challenge for second place. Personally I think the latter is unlikely, and I think Wigan will win the play-offs. But what do I know...

Just don't see us or Burnley losing that many games to give them a sniff of first or second
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 I ain't a QPR apologist. But people have been too quick to bin them, and Redknapp off, is all.
LCCFox96 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 QPR have had their stickyatch and will pick up a bit now. It could hardly get much worse for them than the prior 5 games given their aims this year. Us and/or Burnley may yet experience a similar run of form (touch wood) so they could quite easily catch us or being putting pressure on 2nd place by the end of the year. I'd like to think 1st is out of their reach by now. Ball is in our court though. Win our games and they can do what they like but they won't catch us. Continue that on Tuesday against Barnsley.

Kitchandro Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 1. Yes, I am 99.9% sure that is the case. You'd have to be an absolute cretin not to reach that conclusion. 2. So why bring him in with 16 to play? If he's that much better than everybody else in the division he should be in charge straight away. 3. Ok. "If" QPR don't get promoted it will be the third club in the last four that Harry has relegated and/or screwed beyond recognition. As soon as I read this I knew Col would accuse you of being a cretin
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 As soon as I read this I knew Col would accuse you of being a cretin eh! I aint accused no-one of being a cretin!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 News flash QPR Wigan Direby and any one of F@@@st, Reading, Ipswich, Brighton or Blackburn to finish in the play offs This news flash was Brought to you by Weasel news incorporated.com
Fox92 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Mmm strange how the posters have now started to change, When I first posted this thread, it was QPR FINISHED, No hopers, now all of a sudden my crystal ball predictions are being taken serious. My horizontal stripes were mooned at. Now because of one result, fickle posters are changing their stance each game played. QPR will be in the mix for 2nd spot, I firmly believe we go up as champions, even if we drop points in the next-3 to 4 games..Its not about panicking if we lose 1-2 games, or the chasing packs results go against us, but believing we are strong and good enough to ride the odd bad result....if we have any. I haven't started to change. I'll stick my neck out and say I don't think they'll catch us. I'm "worried" about Burnley, that's all. Don't think Derby have enough to catch us, and Wigan had a terrible start prior to Uwe which will prevent them although they are getting stronger every week.
Kitchandro Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 eh! I aint accused no-one of being a cretin! Doh I meant accuse him of calling you a cretin It's too early and I didn't get enough sleep.

Good win for them Saturday, least we'll have a week where Bagpuss doesn't need to dip into the transfer market.
