QPR to start a run, Harry can still haunt us..

I can't be bothered to scroll through loads of previous posts to see what others havve been saying.

But I predicted that Burnley would take the second automatic promotion spot back in January and had a bet on it.

If others were also saying that QPR wouldn't catch us and get automatic then they predicted right.

We all knew they'd get play offs, and in when you reach the play offs anything can happen.

Granted they achieved what their target was this season, even though they probably expected automatic, it doesn't matter they are back in the Prem, first time of asking.

However with their set up, their current ageing squad, and the wages, if Arry doesn't make some drastic changes i don't fancy their chances next season.

I'm just glad we have a set up, squad, manager and owner so much better than there's.

QPRs owner seems a fool, but to be fair doesnt seem too fussed about the money he has lost(cant imagine he makes anything out of his F1 team either )and doesnt appear to be going anywhere soon, they may benefit from Fulhams relegation as they can attract players not good enough for Arsenal, Chelsea Spurs but who want to play in London

Well, 'Arry and I went out for meal last night. He looked like Jack the Lad, in his monkey suit (dinner suit to the toffs on here). Picked me up in that blue and white "Roller" he's got, and off we went. The pie and chips was washed down with "champers"

Well the guv. said to tell you all, to f--- off, and was smiling when he said it ! Well, when I said that Leicester would finish above them next season, he actually broke into a laugh ( sounded like a donkey braying ). Anyway the bottom line is, that the geezer said we've had our chips, and will be cannon fodder next season.

One more thing. He wishes to be known as 'Appy 'Arry from now on.  :(

lol.. just had to bump the thread..

There are some beauts I must say.

Not as 'beaut' as this I found rummaging through an old Pearson thread. lol

Did you know that QPR's record under uncle 'Arry is worse than it ever was under Mark Hughes.

Of course, Redknapp is popular so that don't get mentioned.

You can do better than that Matt. As a 'forum's favourite', you need to not be such a sore loser.

Come on you gotta admit that's a classic given your defence of him over your bet.

So let me get this right?

To make a point and to distract away from some of the turd you have posted about Redknapp and QPR in recent months, you trawl back for a post that was made OVER A YEAR AGO, when QPR had had a stinky run, ending in relegation.

Do you really take the forum so seriously as to want to do that?

The reason I bet on QPR pre season was because I thought Arry would turn it round. I admit it was close, but the cigar has been smoked.

Tell you what, look back another three years or so for another gem!

lol

Cmon mate.. broad shoulders and all that..

Maybe it's time to stop slating managers based on 'a stinky run'. Not the first time doing that has come back to bite you is it?

Yeah, you slagged him off, like we've done this season. You are quite happy to bring up threads and posts where people got it wrong about Redknapp winning promotion this season, someone found a post of yours that contradicts your current, and very vocal, stance and you seem a little less happy about it. Why is that?

To be fair mate I don't think Matt was trawling through posts looking for one's from you. I think he must have noticed it when reading through the link that someone had put on of a thread about Pearson a year ago.

Congrats on the QPR bet by the way, you'll have to treat the Mrs to a Chamalee and a bottle of wine next weekend.

They're similar to us under Sven, and in hindsight I can say that as a neutral, I would have despised us under Sven. They're doing things the wrong way - huge contracts for Prem rejects who don't care for the club. Any club with Redknapp and Barton are automatically despicable.

Other than local lads or a supposed life long fan No player joins a club for anything other than money.

A few may join a club for the manager plus money and some join clubs like Man City as they think they will win Trophy's.

90% join clubs our's Qpr or whoever for money.

Don't think on signing on the dotted line any of our player joined for the love of the club.

Nuge Drinky Kasper all joined for money first game time second not for the love of our club.

Consider the context. Very different. Redknapp, end of last season had not been able to turn Hughes misfits around. Fact. Yet it was pretty much overlooked IMO because of his reputation.

This season, people were writing him and QPR off with a third of the season left. Which was daft. Read back thru.

Different contexts, different posts.

Some players actually join clubs for sportive reasons, imagine.

Money is important (but show me a department where it isn't), but the outlook of joining a successful team, improving oneself and going places collectively certainly acts as a charmer, too.

Very naive.

Why then is Diego Costa, star striker of the most succesful Atletico side in decades, off to Chelsea?

Because he hates being succesful under a very good manager?

You do the math.

Yes with you on some of that.

But my point was they don't sign for the love of the club or the badge.

They join for gain money and trophy's.

You only join your own club for love.

Excuse me, but where did I say all players join clubs for money exclusively, Colin?

Some do, some don't.

Well our lads seem to care about the club a hell of a lot more than the QPR ones..
