Another 3-0 victory and I thought yesterday was better, we created a lot more opportunities and tested their keeper more times, as well as knocking it about excellently at times, some lovely one-touch moves which were nearly finished off by Nugent and Knockaert.

Thought the team was very convincing and a world away from the side that collapsed around this time last year, there was a determination to win the game comfortably and continue our huge advantage at the top. Been so impressed with our attitude since hitting first place; in the past we've buckled under pressure and fallen away, this time we've been consistant, at times classy and very encouragingly, getting better as the season carries on.

We are in a fantastic position, we went 13 points ahead of third a month ago and now have the same lead, superb effort to maintain standards. So pleased with everything about this season.

I had to smile at Chris Powell's comments.

We're so good that opposing managers consider a 3-0 defeat a decent result against us lol

We were woeful today and have been all season. I have no idea what Pearson sees in this Drinkwater chap. Get Kingy back in there ASAP. Should also sign JET to protect the back four

Indeed. Pearson out, I say. :D

Hardly Mick McCarthy though.

Chris just said we were champions-elect, Mick basically said we were the best team on the planet.

Considering the number of easy chances we missed I'd be happy with just 3-0 as well, it could have been 8 quite easily the way we were playing.

Confirmed by Nige that Dyer was playing with a knock for the last four weeks.

I hope the over dramatic idiots ringing in and shouting loud that he should be dropped pronto realise the context of their jibes.

I said as much to a friend. 8-0 would  not have flattered us. And I'm usually a pessimist!

Sadly, they usually don't see beneath the surface and come to rash conclusions instead of being patient enough to wait for an official explanation.

Good on Lloyd and testament to his willpower and dedication that he still managed to play during that spell and that it wasn't anything more serious that would've kept him on the sidelines for longer.

Nige was likely biding his time before the players trusted Mahrez and probably kept insisting to Lloydly to play.

The same happened with Matt Oakley in Pearson's last season of the first reign. I was calling him blind for his performances but he playing with an injury for three months. Learnt my lesson then.
