Dan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Millwall and Brighton, I think. Edit: League One was Brighton, too. 0-2 and then conspired to lose 3-2 if I recall correctly. Correct. Both runs started after a loss in the exact same fixture just something I noticed.
Babylon Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Well it went straight over my head! Even so, thanks for putting it right for me Mr Forum Police. Oh Bert, don't get all arsey because you didn't get the sarcasm. As for forum police, yeah that's an appropriate response to someone pointing out he was joking. Presumably you are also a member of the forum police because you were correcting Mark? Or am I misunderstanding how this works?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 We were totally dominant and they were shocking. Professional and quality performance to a man. COYB

FoxInTheBox89 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I thought they would be much harder to break down in all honesty but perhaps we were actually quite good aswell? O yeah we played amazing today. Best ive seen them play at the king power personally. Charlton were terrible though
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 O yeah we played amazing today. Best ive seen them play at the king power personally. Charlton were terrible thoughSecond half dare I say it we looked like champions IMHO

80footgiraffe Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Solid performance from everyone today. Mahrez was very good, didn't do anything wrong from memory, Wasyl MOTM for me, he delivered balls beautifully, really good at floating the ball
dmayne7 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 We were woeful today and have been all season. I have no idea what Pearson sees in this Drinkwater chap. Get Kingy back in there ASAP. Should also sign JET to protect the back four
crisp monster Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 This team gets better and better like Ipswich last week, Charlton offered very little but the team spirit, skill and determination till the very last kick makes this Leicester side look very promising, not just for this season, but for the future. Nothing will stop our march to the premier now - well done to everyone associated with the club and for all the fans who have had a very frustrating last decade :-)
dmayne7 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Oh and Mark_w, you've replaced TBJS as my favourite forum member now just for being able to crank up the holy few on here. Plus you can laugh at yourself
Mark_w Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Oh and Mark_w, you've replaced TBJS as my favourite forum member now just for being able to crank up the holy few on here. Plus you can laugh at yourself I do wonder if it's worth it sometimes, apparently you can be banned for your joke going over a moderators head (making this assumption based on the fact that no one cared to explain).
marbelladave Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Greetings from Cabo, on the southern tip of the Baja peninsular. Game kicked off at 8.00am, got rhe result after breakfast. Went for a long walk along the beach, dipping my toes into the old Pacific sea and watched the whales spouting just a hundred or so yards off the beach. Celebrated the win with a lunch consisting mainly of strawberry margaritas, go Jamie as they say in these parts. Not back for another two weeks, I expect us to be promoted by then.
Stadt Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 The best thing about that game was when Wasyl decided to start doing kick ups whilst being closed down in the corner.
Guy Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Seems like the only disappointing aspects of today were how poor the opposition were (or was it how poor we made them look?) and a drop in 4000 from the Ipswich game last weekend - in just the space of a week! - was that because Charlton brought a good few less than Ipswich the previous Saturday or just the general cost of going to matches nowadays I wonder? - or both?!

SE7 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Well the score line went as everyone expected. Really not happy with the performance we put in, never once got going and although it's cliche, I think a few might have an eye on the QF next week. Very very poor. Won't take anything away from Leicester though, a class above anything we've played this season. Powell summed it up pretty much spot on in his post match conference. Only good thing from today was the other results around us. Anyway, as I said before the game, enjoy the Premiership.
suffolk fox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 If Jim Davidson's a Charlton fan then I'm even happier we won today. Jim Davidson has always been a Charlton fan, well known fact.
youglan Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 good game three good goals and a bit of drama before kick off too when the steward faint or collapse am glad he ok

Absolutely love Chris Powell, top top man
Happy Fox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 The only concerning thing is the piss poor attendance, 24,000 for a team flying at the top of the league isn't good enough imo.
Xen Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Here's one for you all - remember our longest ever unbeaten run in League One, 23 games. Which game did we lose before the run started? And which game did we lose before this run started? We got 53 points during that run in L1 if my maths is correct. ~2.3ppg At the moment this run is getting us 2.57 ppg, which would have us taking 59 points if we matched the unbeaten record. ~69pts if it keeps going til the end of the season. Which would have us finishing on 107 points - just above Reading's record. Of course, that's probably unlikely. Wigan and Burnley will be our toughest tests, and there are plenty of opportunities to drop points in this division, not least to those in a relegation scrap. But it still makes VERY nice reading.
