Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 It was a great interview by Kammy, and I got a sweet new avatar too!
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 The look on Arry's face after their game was priceless. Billy Davies Steve brolly man
bovril Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Sounds like it was the most complete performance of the season. Without Dyer
nlukka Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Absolute masterclass. Not exaggerating either, this is by far the best football I've seen us play since I started going to games in 2005. Charlton were very poor, but the domination and control from us was frightening at times. Drinkwater and James were absolute class, forget your Bryson's, Reid's etc... these two are by far the best midfielders in the Championship. Nobody can seem to handle Vardy atm, another well taken goal, and that flick to set up Nugent for his strike was superb. Meanwhile the defence weren't even troubled, De Laet was brilliant defensively & going forward, as was Schlupp on the left side, Wes dominate as ever, but for me my MOTM today just because he played the full 90 is Marcin Wasilewski. He won everything, absolutely everything, picked out some brilliant passes, and that block in the second half to deny Charlton a shot on target, was beastly. Still don't wish to get ahead of myself, but this team is immense. Agree entirely, he was superb today. RDL was also excellent.
elangLCFC Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 The fact that 3-0 flattered them says it all about how dominant we were...come to think of it did they even have a shot, let anone one Kasper had to save? Genuinely can't think of one attempt. Only one was when they tried to lob him and he blocked it
Witch Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 7,000 posts for me, I'll just leave this beautiful picture here. Luv it.
Strokes Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Vardy making a late claim for a Euro place! Euro? In Brazil
TrentFox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Fabulous day. I'm sure someone must have already said this, but MOM for me today was team spirit. From Kasper's hugs pre kick-off, to players chasing back as though their life depended on winning a 50:50 in the last minute. Superb. The humour between Knocky and Nuge after his outlandish back flip that went out, despite Nuge chasing it to the line, was fabulous and made me genuinely laugh out loud. I don't think I've seen a City side this united since the halcyon days of MON. It will carry us to the PL and almost certainly the title, too.

Brauny Fox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Anyone see Kammy's interview with Nige on SSN? Lovely stuff. The bloody mother-in-law decided to show up so I missed it! If anybody has the interview please pop it on here!!
djedmundo Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Also, did somebody give a birthday message to Jamie Vardy at half time or was I hearing things? Hearing things. It was for my son....his surname sounds familiar though and funnily enough Vardy is his favourite player. 3 points, Vardy scoring and a mention on board & PA not a bad day!
Dan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 We'd beat most of the Premier League at this rate and I mean that. Some of the football was unbelievable today. Knockaert or Nugent MOTM for me. Both a class above. Nugent's was a terrific finish.
iamafox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Another fantastic performance and result. We should all be very proud of the team that we have right now, they really have clicked together.
StoneColdDyche Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Hi everyone, Burnley fan here! I think you guys are up. I'm hoping we can push you all the way (it can only be good for both sides!). You seem a very good side and I'd be happy enough to see you promoted as champions if we can take that second automatic spot! I can't stand the thought of the playoff lottery though I do have fond memories from a few years ago. Very happy with our result today - we've put a little cushion between ourselves and Derby but still a long way to go. Best of luck for the rest of the season and enjoy the celebrations!

Nope, we'd be quite happy to carry on running away with it.

Just make sure you don't lose your spot to Derby or Forest. Good luck (but not too much luck)
gazfox9 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 A word on nuge's goal. As he got the ball, he looked left and saw absolutely nothing was on... at this point I'm screaming hit it.... which he did with some style! I just wish Nuge was more selfish sometimes! I was right behind that goal and it was evident as soon as it left his foot it was in.
Babylon Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Sad to see the mixed zone return again between N1 and the away fans, really does have an effect on the atmosphere where I am in N1. Understand the club are trying to make it more 'family friendly' but it's really not a good idea.Don't sit in the family stand then, quite easy.
