Kasper Vs England

I genuinely feel that our beloved Kasper may well be off. He's a very ambitious young man.

If we weren't going to be promoted this season, I'm sure he'd go. But even if we do I think one of the big boys may come calling.

 

I feel that he will want to establish himself as a Prem keeper for a season or two at least, most likely with us. He hasn't had a lot of stability in his career so far, which is vital if you're going to be succesful as a goalkeeper.... and have ambitions of becoming first-choice for you country! It would not make sense for him to move to a club where he wouldn't be guaranteed a starting place or where the sporting level isn't greater than what he can get with us.

The performance last night is already being hyped no end, not least in Denmark where 'everybody' now seem unanimous in their verdict: He's the country's new #1.

But I do not believe it will have attracted any attention from clubs that weren't already keeping a close eye on him.

I think his old man will help keep his feet on the ground, he's repeatedly said how great it is to see him settled and playing regularly. If he doesn't want the Earth in wages, he'll re-sign, I'm fairly sure of that.

To be fair, he never got a crack at it while he was with us. He's had a distinguished career at AaB and Sporting Kansas, so I do not really understand the ridicule.

He would be silly to leave. He is getting what he wants i.e. first team football every single week.

Well he wants top flight first team football and unless something drastic happens that's what he will be getting next season so I agree.

I think he'll be here for at least one more season.

If Man Utd come in with an offer of first team football? Stop being thick, they've got one of the best young keepers in the world as their number 1. Unless De Gea were to leave (and he's going nowhere) them Schmeics wouldn't get near the first team.

The big word was 'if'......and I was being sarcastic for that reason. Manu are not going to throw away the time and patience they spent on De Gea, to break in another goalkeeper., that also goes for any of the so called 8 teams, Italians like their goalkeepers.There might be a couple with old keepers, I dont know, though Dortmund as one thats tipping pensionable age

Its all relative, and speculation .besides we dont know the thinking of Kasper and how he sees it, whether is beloved and kids

The ridicule stems from the whole Martin Allen fiasco. Not one person left that situation unscathed, I think.

It was a big 'IF'. Pretty sure Ter Stegen will be heading to Barca as well now. The thing is, there's not going to be many teams in the Premiership who would be a step up from Leicester AND that he'd get playing time at. Is he really going to jump ship for Hull, Norwich, Palace, West Brom? He won't be first choice at Stoke/Swansea/Newcastle/Man U/Everton/any of the rest of the top 5.

 

Can anyone think of a realistic Prem move for him where he'd be the likely starter? Southampton? West Ham? Villa?

Honestly convinced he could be one of the best keepers in the prem. Look at Marshall, fairly good in the championship and seemingly quality in the prem because he's made the stepup. If kasper can 'make the stepup' he could be brilliant. He'll stay

This I don't agree with, he's a good keeper there's no doubting that but his decision making and ability under the high ball let him down.

If he was taller he would be playing in the premiership all ready, I'd say that is the only thing stopping him from being world class.

when has his ability under high ball cost us THIS year? The only time I can think of is Charlton away, when he was blatantly fouled
