shade Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Kasper will have a sore arse in the morning... why, what are you going to do to him?
indierich06 Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Glad he had a decent game. But would of rather seen England to have 2 or 3 more goals. You can't let your respect for the man override your passion for English football, especially for 1 night. Not at all positive going into this world cup, considering the group too... . I couldn't give a lusty **** about the England team.
kingfox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 why, what are you going to do to him? Seems there's a long queue of Leicester fans, Man Utd fans & Adrian Chiles ready to bum him.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Minute's applause in the first minute at Barnsley. 1 is significant because he wears Number 1 for City and Denmark and he conceded one goal.
ADK Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I'm glad Kasper is getting the recognition he deserves. Always thought he was going to go far since I saw him at Notts County.
EdinburghFox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Going completely off topic but, with how the England team is run, set up and how the squad is picked, I only have passion for Leicester when it comes to football. I follow England's National team rather than support them. Until players are picked on merit it will always remain that way. Same here with the Scotland team, we're dump
65RosesFox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Same here with the Scotland team, we're dump I'm half Polish so 'no comment'
Fox42 Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I'm half Polish so 'no comment'I'm Iraqi... Best keep my mouth shut
fuchsntf Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 It's been a long time since I have heard an England manager praise a Leicester player. An interesting point, that opens up the idea.... 'last praise of an English player, while at city'. The last time I remember, was when the donkey was just a foal (donkey years).... Joe Mercer, on The 3 'Ws'....Weller, Whitworth, Worthington.Where he complimented the players when Shilton was a city player, and maybe the last player who received accolades while under City blues. Lineker did get his 1st caps while under city colours, but did he get any plaudits from the England manger.
EdinburghFox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I'm half Polish so 'no comment' haha, I really didn't expect that result
ealingfox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Well that's Kasper gone in the summer then, as someone said, his agent is going to try and give us a thorough bumming when it comes to his personal terms. Pearson obviously cannot stand the clowns that are agents in today's game, and probably won't stand for it. He will want to keep our house in order, most likely with a wage structure and maximum earners.
Finnaldo Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I've said since the start of the season that Kasper will leave in the summer and I stick by that, possibly even more than I had before. He'll be the full time Danish 'keeper soon enough and even if we're promoted, with teams like Man U and Inter Milan sniffing around I can see him off. Not that I blame him, I think that it's key for his development to move on and I really can't see him sticking around unless he's a lot more loyal than I thought.
L4EV Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 He's not at the level of Scum and AC Milan, not yet at least. Kasper likes to be no. 1 so he won't sign for those clubs unless he's guarenteed to be no. 1.

See if Kasper, wants to stay in England and play in the premiership as 1st choice goalkeeper, then City have a chance of Keeping him, maybe even longer if city are well placed in Jan 2015 . If top team comes in and gives him that promise,1st choice and with European football, then we say thank you and all the best. Pearson wont break the bank to pay him any ridiculous wage, but he will get a rise anyway, depends if money is His 1st priority.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I honestly think that we have a fair chance of keeping him. He's been with us for around 3 years now and it appears as though he's finally achieving what he initially set out to do with us. If he can play in the premier league next season, great for him. If he can play there with us, even better!

Kasper likes to be no. 1 so he won't sign for those clubs unless he's guarenteed to be no. 1. Possibly, but his sentiment may be that he doesn't like being second in the 'lower league' teams but I'm sure he wouldn't mind waiting a couple years or so at Man U, sitting on a fat contract and going on loan to a foreign club a couple times to ensure game time and development.

I'd be very surprise if Kasper went Utd. DeGea is their established number 1 and is a lot younger, so he will be a back up and used in the League Cup that's it. I think he would love to play regularly in the Premier League and let's face it both Utd and AC Milan don't look like they are making Champions League next season so why would he move to either of them. If he stays at Leicester next season and keeps us up (assuming we're promoted) then he I can see him getting a big contract offer from a Champions League Club.

You also have to consider that DeGea is younger than Kasper so he wouldn't exactly be the heir to the scum keeper throne if he went there.
johnny the fox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I think people should give him more credit than to think he will be off at the first good offer that comes in, he is is better than that ! perhaps he likes it here and is really happy .. money may not be his god...its not everybody's life's ambition to just load up on the dosh you know..personal contentment goes a long way.

He won't go just for money, it will play a part but ambition will be what it comes down too mainly. Will he stay? I honestly don't know, I honestly don't think he knows either just yet. He will run down his contract as he generally seems to do and then asses where he wants to be or what he wants to do. He can talk to all the clubs who are interested in him, see what contract he can get from each and then go from there. If it's Leicester, Hull, Norwich etc on the table I think he'll sign on the dotted line here for another year or two. If we are talking Tottenham, Everton or that even bigger step of Milan or Manchester United then of course it's almost pointless us offering him a contract, they will stump up a huge transfer fee, a huge wage, he'll be already playing in Europe and he'll be the number 1 for his country permanantly. (although that mght be the case now anyway) In reality, there is nothing we can do to effect whether he stays or goes, it's all down to the level of interest and statue of club that wants to take him off us.
ealingfox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 The worst part is if we were to go up, I'd say a significant part of Schmeics will want to stay, but his clown spewing bile in his ear and waving dollar signs in front of him could be enough to lead him away.
AKCJ Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 It takes 15 'paragraphs' til they mention Kasper's name in the BBC match report.
broughtonblue Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 He will stay, only reason his new contract has not been made public is ffp, tie him to a long term contract and this is another 'expense'. His (and others) will be signed once the new financial year starts!

Dont forget, he has his father has an earpiece and advisory experience, If Manu come in with 1st choice offer, hes gone, or any Top 4 club. Europe...depends again what club.I cant see him listening to his agent, based on dollars, with avg future, avg club. If hes content on a big rise, and promised 1st choice, then maybe a team with good manager and perspective like:- Everton or Spurs, maybe Dortmund (older gk) or Italian, Spanish equivalent might tempt him....... Hes 27 with 2 young kids, IMO he'll see if Manu come in for him, and what they offer. Then see what top 3-4 Italian might Dangle in front of him. Totting it all up , I only see 8 clubs where interested might be sparked.....So start counting down.
