I'm at 95 hours on FF7 Rebirth now having just returned to Costa for the second time.  A load of sides just showed up and I have a shed load more Queens Blood to get through.  Is there any end to this game?  lol

Not that I'm complaining, it's an absolute blast to play.

I tried the latest piano score which is rock solid.  How is it possible to get at least A rank on that?  I have star rank on a few and A on the rest at this point but for Let the battles begin...?  I scraped a B after a couple of tries.

Think it took me 120 hours to finish the game fully. It just slaps from start to finish. Incredible game and for me really should win GOTY

With the Black Friday sale i decided to go for Palworld. See what the fuss is about, seeing as i love Pokemon i wanted to see if it really is the big Pokemon rip off its portrayed.

Yes whilst it has elements that are similar to Pokemon i wouldnt say its a rip off. I wasn't really enjoying it at the beginning as it just throws you in and you have to work things out for yourself. But once i got my bearings the game isnt bad at all. Quite enjoying the difficulty of it. Finding myself just collecting resources to level up rather than just ploughing through the areas. You cant go in underlevelled against a Boss Pal, they ruin you lol

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

You can see there's a potential GOTY contender in there somewhere, but it needed another year or so in the oven. Lots of jank, AI and performance issues. STALKER's much-loved A-Life system is currently disabled as they didn't get time to optimise it. The atmosphere and world-building is sublime, mind.

But it's amazing it even got made in the first place given the devs are living through an actual war.

Much like Cyberpunk, I think I'll come back to it in a year or two once they've had chance to patch it to its full potential.

Started Indiana Jones last night. So far so good!

Downloaded it last night

I really hope it's not too complex in terms of character levelling and inventory bullshit. Every game I play feels like you need to spend weeks learning how to play the ****ing thing and I don't have time.

I want to turn the thing on and play immersive games for an hour without having to relearn everything

What did you think of it?

I thought it was quite easy to drop straight into and get going. Enjoying it so far.

Still working my way through Diablo IV. Enjoying it so much i bought the vessel of hatred expansion. So much to do post game its crazy. Im at paragon level 148. Loads of extras in the expansion with masterworking and runes to go in the sockets. Probably the best game ive played since Witcher 3.

Started South Park: Stick of Truth again. :D Then will play The Fractured But Whole after. Genuinely great games.

I love both of them, ended up picking up the collectors editions of both a couple of years ago!

Such a shame the route they went with Snow Day, such a crap game when they could've just gone with another in the same style of the other two

Yeh I've heard it's terrible, liked the idea of a new 3D SP game but clearly not worked at all.

I am actually playing through it at the moment, purely to get it off my "to play" list - thankfully it is meant to be quite a short game

Once you have played it for 20-30 minutes you have basically seen most of the game - incredibly repetitive and boring combat

Never been a big fan of stealth games though and there has been quite a bit of it so far

Love a stealth game, me.

But it's pretty stealth-lite in that the NPCs can barely see you about 10m away in broad daylight even on the hardest difficulty.

I love whacking goons with any old shit I find laying around, mind - and the fist fighting is fun. They've done a really incredible job of capturing the Indiana Jones world though. The voice actor has done an unbelievable job of mimicking Harrison Ford and the music is sublime. Tombs and puzzles are fun too.

Really enjoying it, the only bit I don't really get on with is the amount of backtracking - especially if you miss a collectible or something.

Back on RE4 Remake to finish following a couple of indie platinums.  Such a fantastic remake of a great game.  Just done the mines section, great stuff.

Still on a mini break from FF7 Rebirth too having amassed 105 hours of game time on it so far.

Streaming service on PS Premium is very good too.  Lots to go at, no time.  lol
