Derby v Bolton

Could both be half decent results for us hopefully

Pretty hard to blame them when they will have just seen huge losses posted in the last couple of weeks. Whilst we know the ins and outs of our financial situation I wouldn't expect other fans to.

 

In terms of what we've spent on transfer fees in our starting line-up we'll still have Drinkwater, James, De Laet, Koncokaert, Morgan and Vardy who were all approaching/not far off £1million each. Other free transfers such as Schmeichel, Knochesky and Nugent we know are on good money. Whilst the days of £5million on Mills and £3million on Beckford have gone, we've still had resources far greater than most Championship sides could hope for.

 

Clubs like Barnsley are a credit to football, punching above their weight and within their means so I wouldn't begrudge them throwing the 'big spender' tag our way. The only thing that matters is the league table. In the last few years Barnsley have got far greater value from their spend than we have but thankfully this year the tables have turned.

See this as a game we have to win just to show how far we have come, previous seasons these so called easier games are where we let ourselves down. So going to go with a 2 - 0 win, bout time we got a Knocky special. COYBs

I'll be pissed off if we don't win by at least 3.

I dont think its weird.

This is a potential banana skin, see Cardiff vs Peterbro last year. They are fighting for their lives and have just beaten Forest.

We should win, but we should have beaten Doncaster and Charlton away too. A point although not what we should play for keeps the points total ticking and keeps us unbeaten.(our run should I say).

 

Some people are being pessimistic but equally some people need to stop thinking we are Bayern Munich.

Going to the game with my daughter and my mate and his son. First time in with the fans this season. Really looking forward to it. The last two occasions I've taken her we've won 1-0 at Derby and 1-0 home to Brighton. Everything comes in threes, let's hope...

 

 

edited to add: Cardiff lost three games against relegated sides last season.

If we win tomorrow, and derby and qpr both lose. Followed by 3 points at home to blackpool, and 3 at home to QPR....then in my opinion we are up.

 

 

19 points above 3rd would be ridiculous with only 30 possible from 10 games.

These are fvcking shite, if we play average we should beat them. If we play well we should smash them.

 

I'm expecting a win. We're a totally different class.

As easy as it was beating Doncaster and Sheffield Wednesday I suspect.

To be fair we are a totally different side now.

 

 

The gap between us and 3rd has been forever increasing over the past few weeks, and that has only led to increased determination from the players as oppose to complacency. 

 

The lads want to get it done as quick as possible, so i fail to see them dropping off tonight.

 

 

The performance will be as high energy and committed as the past months, but that doesn't guarantee a good result, but i cannot seeing us not getting one.

Must win game this if you ask me. Lose and Burnley beat Birmingham tomorrow the gap is down to 2points

Considering our game in hand is away to Wigan next month I'd not be surprised to see us down to second by the time we play them
