Cincinnati Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Time for pre match discussion Barnsley 6 unbeaten at home and beat the European champions today How will we get on??
Brooksy Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Same team please Nige. Comfortable 4-0 win. Vardys first hat-trick for the club.
Happy Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Kasper De Laet Wasyl Morgan Schlupp Knockaert Drinkwater James Mahrez Vardy Nugent Subs: Moore, King, Hammond, Logan, Dyer, Wood and Phillips. 2-0 City win Drinkwater and Knockaert with the goals.
Corky Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Would be fantastic to win with a great performance, almost full circle from the disaster of last season's trip there. 2-0 victory, Vardy and Nugent.
Russell sprout Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 They beat the European champions so they'll beat us?
KFS Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Got to keep Mellis and Jennings quiet, but if we play our pressing game and manage the ball well then we'll be okay. 1-2 Leicester Vardy and Mahrez.
Grewks Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 They were awful today, against an even more awful forest side. Gotta take the 3 points for me, probably 4-1. Unlike the other big sides in the league, we have the quality of a top side, but the commitment of the lower sides. Unlike forest, we will not be 'outworked', the likes of vardy and nuge will still run their nuts off, and i fancy a vardy hat trick aswell.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 One thing we haven't done that we did on a couple of occasions last year is smash a team to bits. I'm being greedy but I think we are due one. With today's results, if I've calculated right, a win on Tuesday would put us 16 points clear of third. That is quite simply an incredible lead at any point of the season. Everything is falling into place (fingers crossed) and this is the first of a four game run in that could secure our return. With a couple of ex leicester players (Dawson and o'grady) one is bound to score. Therefore, my prediction will be 5-1 to the boys in blue.

Simonb Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 2-0 leicester. . Solid performance. Nuge penalty n vardy rounding keeper
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Tough game. Anything is better than the performance last season. We should be looking to take three points, though. Same team for me.
Vicki Vixen Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Barnsley's game is all about putting crosses in at the first opportunity - big looping fookers from deep positions. Like the ones we conceded at Sheff Wed. They have no pace in the side and if we hit them on the counter we could score a few.
kingfox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 1-2 win. O'Grady will score, Nugent will equalise, Wasilewski last minute winner.

Neither of their goals came from the way your describing, especially not from deep. It was poor clearances which cost us. We are a far different team now though in my opinion. We have de laet back, who was actually a huge blow, we have a settled was, and more strength in depth (wood, mahrez, phillips etc). 1-2 win. O'Grady will score, Nugent will equalise, Wasilewski last minute winner. Would be the most mental goal of the season so far.
DennisNedry Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 I hate Barnsley away, always gives me a bad feeling. We just need to match what Burnley do tomorrow, bettering what they do would be a bonus.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Why the lack of confidence from some of you? Barnsley are poor, worse than they were last season
weller54 Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 The sheep have Bolton up next!!.. Who have found some great form.. Another defeat..like lambs to the slaughter!...

Both Sheffield goals came from crosses...which we failed to clear. The first cross hung in the air for an eternity before Wickham pulled it down and scored. My point was that Barnsley's only threat to us will be from crosses.

Cannot see them getting many in, they haven't got a lot of pace, unlike jeff, ritchie, lloyd etc. I can see vardy having a field day to be honest.

We will win of course! - o ye of little faith! The present 'team' is arguably the best we have had the pleasure of enjoying since Colin Appleton's record-breaking 'Ice-Age Champions of 62/63, We are being treated to some of the most thrilling football ever produced by Leicester City F.C. Enjoy it! We are going back to our rightful place in the Premiership and we have no intention of just making up the numbers!
Swarles Barkley Posted 9 March 2014 Posted 9 March 2014 I reckon we'll win 3-1 with a nugent hat-trick. Barnsley to be leading at half time then three quick fire goals in the second half
