Yeovil chit-chat.

... Millers confidence took a real dent with missing their penalty, just stood holding his head as he knew he'd just kissed their season away in reality ... so in the cold light of Tuesday night they have nothing to lose by just going for the throat! Tom Lawrence is a pacey youngster who will shoot on sight, with a good percentage of 'on target hits' and Edwards in midfield will be a pain! Millers got a debt to repay and Johnson will have them fired up for a shock result! ... Will we win? on paper of course, yes! But underestimate any team in this league and you risk a bloody nose ... we just need to be professional and punish their mistakes, which they will make as many of their players are still learning at this level ... C'mon City ... 2-0

I don't believe this game will be as easy as some people think. Yeovil are fighting well at the moment, and every point is precious to them, so effectively they have a cause. Teams with a cause can be troublesome.

A defeat for us probably wont happen, but don't expect a big win.

The main threat is big Miller. Scoring goals for fun at present and a strong unit. Wes and Wasa will know they're in a game with him I suspect.

I'd make a few changes I think, not many, but look to keep 2 or 3 fresh for Saturday, without compromising our chances.

On paper we should win comfortably.

However Yeovil are a feisty and spirited side, so if we don't take the lead fairly early or even go behind, it will be tough.

For the record, obviously I want us to win at all costs, but I'd really love to see Yeovil stay up.

As I mentioned in another post maybe we should look to rest a few

GK: Kasper

RB: De Laet

CM: King

CM: James

LW: Dyer

Don't think I'm dropping both Drinky and Nugent just resting them for saturday.

Rest Nugent and Vardy. Give James a break. I'd be tempted to start Moore but De Laet puts us on the front foot which is vital in games like this.

Leicester should really not underestimate these lot, in the away fixture i was impressed with their determination at 2-0 down to still try and get back into the game, they pushed us hard for the last 15 minutes wheres other teams may of slacked off. Goal scoring for them is a problem, they have only scored 11 goals in 12 games, with 5 of them coming in the last 2. The defense is poor as well, if we play well we could get them on the break with Vardys pace and their lethargic defenders. Expect a scrappy game though, i do not expect us to be able to create chances like we have been doing. Yeovil will have a game plan either to come out and have a good go for the first 15 minutes, try and grab a goal then slow it down, or to come out and sit back and try to go on the counter but with the lack of pace i imagine it will be the first option.

2-1 WIN

Wasyl and Vardy

lol They're scoring for fun lately, not at last thanks to the introduction of Ishmael Miller. I wouldn't underestimate their attacking threat, but I agree with their abysmal record at the other end of the pitch. That should suit us.

This fixture has all the ingredients to be a very entertaining affair. I don't expect Yeovil to hold back at all, unlike negative sides such as Blackpool.

Come on lad, Miller is pish.

I've said it before, I don't think I've ever seen you actually construct an argument? Certainly never give any credit to opposition players. Miller has been around a bit, yes, but is currently on-form and a handful.

You just call him pish.. that's about yer limit lad. Personally I'm interested to see how our big lads handle him.

I reckon this is much more "massive" than the Burnley game.

If we beat the lowly teams - and Yeovil could be 2 divisions lower than us next season - the title takes care of itself.

I know it's an away game but WHEN we're Prem next season, we'll be hoping to beat any Division 1 team in the FA / League Cup away from home without needing a replay and we'll probably play second string players against them.

Yesterday we had 2 good forwards against us working in tandem.

I don't doubt that Miller is talented but against the leaders how will Yeovil line up? How much support will their front man have?

We lost to Forest at KP,how still baffles me,and we almost lost to Watford .Do Yeovil pose a similar threat?

I will enjoy City punching above our weight (hopefully regularly next season)but I doubt Yeovil will steal anything on Tuesday. The City team seems to be focused, patience may be required but if we play as we have a win should be ours

i like yeovil and hope they survive, having said that i think 3 points should be a given here, we should have too much class for them. unchanged team COYB :scarf:

yes because 11 goals in 12 is truly amazing, isnt it. they have scored a few in the past 2 games, if you look past that very little.

Has anyone thought that it might be worth playing wood instead of Vardy? this way avoid's the booking that will make him unavailable to play on saturday, I know you always play your strongest team but I feel nugent and wood would get the job done against yeovil! wood has no form I know, which would make more sense playing him in this game rather than if Vardy get's suspended for saturday.

Miller won't be an easy customer. But I think he's the exact type of player Wes and Was love playing against. Physical game for the pair of them. But the

way Wes dealt with Gestede yesterday, I reckon Nigel will have had words with them about giving Miller a few bruises.

Important we win this given the games we have around it. Think nuge should drop to bench for this one, other than that I'd keep it same. If dyer was fit I'd give knockaert a rest.
