MrSpaM Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Id like to see King get a game and Drinkwater rested. Don't think I'd risk Vardy either, we need him for Burnley. I'd start Wood and bring super Kev on second half if we need a goal.
MC Prussian Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Best team please we need to win this game Then again, can we afford Vardy missing out on the Burnley game should he get booked again today? Nugent's had a bit of an off-day on Saturday, wouldn't it be wiser to start with Knockaert as our centre-forward? I'd like to see Moore as right-back tonight and King starting as CM.

harpendenfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Feels like we enter the season's end zone today. The games now come thick and fast. Yeovil today, Burnley on Saturday, Wigan a week today, Sheff Weds a week Friday, Brighton a fortnight today. For weeks now we have had an air of invincibility. The way in which we trounced teams like Ipswich, Charlton and Barnsley was truly impressive. I'm insanely proud to be a Leicester fan right now, and I just hope we can keep our form together for the next couple of weeks because if we do, we're up. I'm almost convinced we will keep our impressive form going, but my 40 years of support makes it hard to just relax and enjoy it. A good thumping of Yeovil tonight wouldn't half help......
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Just don't think we can afford to take Yeovil lightly that's allI agree completely. Best team for every game. Three points is three points whether you get them against Yeovil or Burnley. I hope Pearson plays his best starting 11 and we do a professional job on Yeovil. None of this 'saving a certain player for a certain game'Fortunately, Pearson doesn't usually do this. He'll play his best side tonight IMO.
kingfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 A win is not inevitable tonight, games like this could well be easy, or they could well turn out to be tough. I see Yeovil have only lost twice in nine games I think, their performance against Wigan especially last week, showed that they are capable of scoring goals. We need to be on it tonight, and any lapses in open play or from set pieces, can be countered on. Ishmael Miller is on form, and look out for Tom Lawrence, the youngster on loan from Man Utd, seen a bit of him for Carlisle earlier this season, and for Wales Under 21's when they played England, he was by far their most dangerous player. Like I said the other day, night games offer up weird results now and again, we could well win 4-0 & we don't have any problems, but this could easily result in a scrappy win, or even a shock loss.
AndyElZorro Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Does Yeovil even have a fans forum? I like to read opposing fans thoughts before the game but can't seem to find anything.
Brooksy Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Does Yeovil even have a fans forum? I like to read opposing fans thoughts before the game but can't seem to find anything. Couldn't find anything active.
Kitchandro Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I'm not really surprised either. I want it to work for Wood as he seems to have a decent attitude but he's so limited as a player it's untrue. He's a quality finisher but his all-round game is shite. I agree to an extent but he's looked very decent when he's come on this season. As for Nugent, there are games when he doesn't score and he's still useful. On the other hand, there are plenty of games where he's just useless these days. I don't want to get on his back but he'll get found out next season if he doesn't start turning up more often. If he plays like he did against Blackpool (?) then he'll be alright.
ealingfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Minutes applause from 19 minutes and 48 seconds because 1948 is the year the NHS was founded and we need to pay tribute to their help for Nige
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Got tonight off from work so gonna go watch this with my brother in law... What's the latest time I can buy a ticket anyone? Cheerz in advance... COYB!

Dan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I agree to an extent but he's looked very decent when he's come on this season. He was poor at Blackburn and to be honest I don't expect him to be used massively next season.
XLM Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Nugent's movement off the ball constantly gets undermined. Creates a lot of space with some very clever running, especially at pace. Stick Wood in there and watch our game slow down massively.
bluesbrothers Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I'm pleased that we seem to be giving Yeovil the respect they deserve. Their league position belays their seemingly better away performances - for instance, they hammered Watford by the same scoreline as ourselves, got a point at Reading with 8 men and most recently their well-documented comeback comeback at Wigan. Had they not spectacularly collapsed in the last 5 minutes, they could have beaten Derby too. I think it's fair to say that, as was the case with Blackburn on Saturday, tonight will depend entirely on which Yeovil turn up - Gary Johnson has been trying to get them to play their own passing game, which may suit us, but they could equally be tempted to stick 11 men behind the ball - and with Miller in-form, I wouldn't be suprised if they catch us on the break at least once tonight. Still, we know we have the ability to win comfortably. Heart says 4-1 stroll, head says 2-1 win or frustrating 1-1 draw.
Dan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I agree that as a club, they've done very well - but there's a reason they're 23rd. Nugent's movement off the ball constantly gets undermined. Creates a lot of space with some very clever running, especially at pace. Stick Wood in there and watch our game slow down massively. Agree. You notice the difference when we declare at 3-0.
yorkie1999 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 We've got to play our best side every game and try and take the points as and when. Trying strategic tactics to rest players will only come back and bite you on the arse. Say if we rested Vardy tonight, then he picked up an injury in training, we'd end up losing him for this game and the next game.
Langston Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Like I said the other day, night games offer up weird results now and again, we could well win 4-0 & we don't have any problems, but this could easily result in a scrappy win, or even a shock loss. You do realise you don't look knowledgable by listing every possible outcome tonight could hold?

XLM Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Can't see their defence being able to deal with the pace. Hopefully our finishing is up to scratch - if so I'm going for a 4-1 win
Cotts Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Just seen 10/1 for a Yeovil win, I can't see past a home win and I guess the bookies have the same trail of thought. Come on Leicester!!
SlaneyLCFC Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Going for 2-0 leicester. Vardy and nugent to score with final 10 mins seeing us defend like nutters. Either way will be happy with a win.
Grewks Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 The difference for me tonight will be the foreigners - was, knocky and mahrez. They don't seem to have been here long enough to have caught the famous english 'bottler' trait, so i cannot see them becoming complacent. I am fully aware that the likes of de laet, schlupp etc are not english, but they have been here long enough to catch the bug.
