FoxInTheBox89 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 My head and heart tells me we will be fine and im just worrying. I want this so much I love Leicester City have done for nearly 20 years. Im worrying though and it will be in the back of my mind untill I see a "p" next to our name... I actually cant sleep tonight because of this. I know how ridiculous it is were in a great position great form. Just want the season to end. I need a drink
AKCJ Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Really? They are home to Blackpool and we are away to Burnley on Saturday. If we lose 3-0 and qpr win then all of a sudden we are in second place 10 points ahead of qpr Exactly. 10 points with 8 games to go, it'll be the biggest **** up ever.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Exactly. 10 points with 8 games to go, it'll be the biggest **** up ever. We won't fook up.. Listen to Col.. ... we will draw on Saturday, draw to Wigan and then go on another winning run.. I can feel it in my water(s)

Mark_from_USA Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 QPR are playoff bound. They won't catch City. I still expect promotion in mid April against Brighton, Reading, or QPR at the latest.
CKB Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Who is it this week then? QPR? last week it was Wigan, now back to QPR!We just need to concentrate on our football team and what they do....
veezeeblue Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 nope ! it´s a battle for the tilte now and if we win on saturday and at wigan i reckon that´s in the bag too
Thracian Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Our fixtures: Burnley (A) Wigan (A) Sheff Wed (H) Brighton (H) Reading (A) QPR (H) Bolton (A) Huddersfield (A) Doncaster (H) We need 12 points from those games if QPR win all their games. You really think we won't? We don't have to worry about QPR. It's all in our own hands and we know it. Can't see any potentially easier opposition that Yeovil among that lot which only emphasises that the job's by no means done.
Guest ttfn Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I can see them getting at least 18 from their last 8, but even a great run like that ours us only six points from promotion.
Pegosteve Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Obviously job not done but what team anywhere would swop needing 12 points from 9 games against 24 from 8???
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Whatever happens Saturday if we take a point in our game in hand at Wigan the lead over QPR will be at least 11 with 7 to play. Then come 2 home games for us while QPR are away for 2 games, i would fully expect us to at least match whatever points haul QPR take over these 2 games, thus our lead over them would still be at least 11 with only 5 games left. Plus we have a vastly superior goal difference. Does this make sense? Or is it a garbled mess of words and numbers?
foxfanazer Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 No not for me. We need to win 4 of our 9 remaining games to guarantee promotion which we WILL do. The title might be a different matter however
Happy Fox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 The only team we should be concerned about is ourselves. The minute we start worrying about other teams and I include the players in that equation then problems start to creep in.
LCCFox96 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We need to be wary of them. I can't see them catching us providing we don't slip up now. I'll feel a lot better about it if we post a few wins in the next 3 games or so. A point at Burnley and winning our game in hand will make for much better reading.
MooseBreath Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 There's absolutely no reason why QPR can't put together a winning run. If they win 7 from 8 then we need 10 points from 9 games. Sounds easy but if we lose to both Burnley and QPR then it's 10 from 7. Throw in just two more losses and all of a sudden we need 2pts per game from the remaining five, and the pressure is on, and deep down nobody has forgotten what happened last season... Things could start looking dodgy very quickly, we missed a golden opportunity to get an important win on the board last night and things aren't about to get any easier than that.
buzzy Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 yes unless we start to up our game last night was just not good enough no offence to Yeovil
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 They concern me slightly as they do have massive quality but realistically then need to win most of their games left plus they still have tricky away games at us, Bournemouth and Blackburn
LJS Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 So what people are saying is if we lose a load of games we're in trouble. Got a few budding Gary Nevilles, I see.
Raj Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 2 weeks ago we were awesome and they couldnt string 2 games together. Now you'd think we are in a relegation dogfight the way some folks are going on!!
Babylon Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 What we really need are loads of people being massively negative and nervous and heaping loads more pressure on the players at games.
Babylon Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Is this the same QPR that got spanked by Wednesday 3-0 three games ago, the same one that's lost 2 out of the last 5 and 5 of the last 10. A team unbeaten in 18 worried about a team losing 5 of their last 10, no we shouldn't be bloody worried about them. Whilst mathematically possible, it's highly improbable.
