lgfualol Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Can you imagine if QPR came second knocking us in third, and we go out of the playoffs. Can you imagine.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Is this the same QPR that got spanked by Wednesday 3-0 three games ago, the same one that's lost 2 out of the last 5 and 5 of the last 10. A team unbeaten in 18 worried about a team losing 5 of their last 10, no we shouldn't be bloody worried about them. Whilst mathematically possible, it's highly improbable. Very good point
Corky Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We've still got to lose five games for them to overtake us. The only barrier to promotion is ourselves, if we can't get 12 points from 9 games and lose it then we don't deserve promotion.
Babylon Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Can you imagine if QPR came second knocking us in third, and we go out of the playoffs. Can you imagine. No I can't, when we play badly we still pick up points, when they play badly they lose badly.
lgfualol Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 No I can't, when we play badly we still pick up points, when they play badly they lose badly. Good point, that makes me feel better.
MC Prussian Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 The apparent general tiredness yesterday and part-arrogance and wastefulness from some of our players concerns me more than QPR.
Munshi Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We'll absolutely do them at home. They're way too inconsistent to be keeping up with anyway, a win at Burnley this Saturday and that's settled it for me.
purpleronnie Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 The only thing that concerns me about QPR is arry's face.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Really? They are home to Blackpool and we are away to Burnley on Saturday. If we lose 3-0 and qpr win then all of a sudden we are in second place 10 points ahead of qpr We're not going to lose 3-0. Feel free to quote me.

shade Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 the only thing that concerns me is whether we hit 100 points or not.
Dan Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 QPR don't concern me. Promotion's not far off at all. It's Burnley I'm now concerned at - I've had my heart set on the title for a while now.
kingcarr21 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 im only concerned of getting the P next to our name. The title would be a nice bonus
The Doctor Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Is this the same QPR that got spanked by Wednesday 3-0 three games ago, the same one that's lost 2 out of the last 5 and 5 of the last 10. A team unbeaten in 18 worried about a team losing 5 of their last 10, no we shouldn't be bloody worried about them. Whilst mathematically possible, it's highly improbable. Can we just look at this form for a second please... If we get 1 more win (which we will certainly do - we aren't going to drop from averaging 2.44 points per game over the last 18 to less 0.33 points per game in the next 9) they'd need 6 wins from 8. So, a team that's lost 50% of their last 10 games, that have averaged 1 point per game since the start of February, is suddenly going to win 75% of their matches, more than doubling their average ppg from the previous 2 months. There is absolutely nothing to be scared about there...
fuchsntf Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 My head and heart tells me we will be fine and im just worrying. I want this so much I love Leicester City have done for nearly 20 years. Im worrying though and it will be in the back of my mind untill I see a "p" next to our name... I actually cant sleep tonight because of this. I know how ridiculous it is were in a great position great form. Just want the season to end. I need a drink When I began reading this I was really starting to worry about you. Eventually you redeemed yourself, and shown you do belong.....4 grace saving words.....'I need a drink' phhheeewww. That was close. Next time you begin to type in such dis-orientated garble, take a deep breath, then a big long drink, and some sips inbetween. Joan Collins and a snickers moment come to mind...
Kitchandro Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Some people need to grow some balls. It's embarrassing how worried they get because we've drawn 2 games. This isn't Man City or Chelsea chasing us down it's bleeding QPR.
Craig Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Not sure if it's been mentioned, but so long as we beat them we only need to win two other games to secure promotion if they, Derby, and Wigan win every other game. We're not going to bottle this.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 They are always in the back of my mind, and i always look out for their results, just like i do for Derby, Burnley, Forest and others around us and in the play-offs. Although as long as we shake of this little bit of bad form (yes, apparently 2 draws is bad form) and get back to winning ways then we have nothing to fear.
Pegosteve Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 All, we have taken 19 points from our last 9 games. Why should we be worried by QPR? I can see them getting to 89 if they are very lucky ( 6 wins and 2 draws) They cannot afford to lose a game if they are going to catch either us or Burnley.
Pegosteve Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Just to put my mind at ease Ive just been through the form tables since 2000/01 season. The highest number of points in the last 8 games by any team is 22 by Newcastle. The norm for the best team is about 19, QPR will not win their last 8 games.
Will1981 Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 I honestly believe we have enough points already, Q.P.R and Derby will bottle it.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We won't fook up.. Listen to Col.. ... we will draw on Saturday, draw to Wigan and then go on another winning run.. I can feel it in my water(s) I wish I had your confidence Col. If we get a point at Burnley I will be well pleased, but they keep on winning, and we are stuttering a little. Nervousness, may be creeping in, and if we lose on Saturday, it wont help our confidence. It's a must win game for me, although a point will help. Truly I cannot see us winning, so it will be me and a brandy bottle on Saturday!
