Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 29th of March 13 we lost to a poor millwall side All I can say is well done to the owners for their patience and to Nigel and his staff just shows what sticking by the manager can bring, lots of clubs would of axed him at that stage. Every manager needs a few seasons to get his team together, i mean look at this from Man Utd fans!
Tuna Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 29th of March 13 we lost to a poor millwall side All I can say is well done to the owners for their patience and to Nigel and his staff To be fair, Big Wes getting sent off after 4 seconds surely didn't help!
Corky Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 And on 29th March 2014 we beat a Burnley side who lost most of their squad (about 12 key players or something) and have spent 60p plus VAT on signings. Not much better, really.
Finnaldo Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 To be fair, Big Wes getting sent off after 4 seconds surely didn't help! Oh god, I remember that match now. Absolutely horrific.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 The squad is older, fitter, a lot wiser and no billy big bollocks or wise guys bringing players down.
Fox92 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Think Nige's coy signings helped a lot. Regardless of how many minutes they get, Was, Phillips, Hammond and GTF will be influential off the pitch just as much as they are on it.

Damned when we win, Damned when we lose.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 And on 29th March 2014 we beat a Burnley side who lost most of their squad (about 12 key players or something) and have spent 60p plus VAT on signings. Not much better, really. Love it!

Lambert09 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 There's one reason for our success this season... Bakayogo... every time the team train Pearson sticks all the players needing confidence on one side and Bakayogo on the other... this instantly makes the players think they are absolute quality after never getting tackled and getting the ball off of him so easily. This leads to us going into every game high of confidence. Let me make this very clear though, this is not the first time Pearson has used this tactic... the infamous Leon Crnic was brought in for the exact same reason, which is why we gained promotion from league 1, unfortunately he ran away just before the play-off games against cardiff as he was a strong believer in equality for all and found himself in a squabble with Wayne Brown
