Has to be Wise - but thanks for the video of 2002-03, so many good memories, particularly the Rotherham game away when we went top after Pompey messed up. Pity it didn't last!

I seem to recall that Steve Bull was none too popular with us in the late 80s early 90s after his clashes with Walshie, but I suppose he was only doing his best for his club, and Walshie was no shrinking violet either.

David Speedie was a massive villain at one time but we all forgave him once he started scoring goals and winning penalties for us. His last act for us was to get sent off along with the Tranmere goalie Eric Steel. Now he was a villainous twat.

David Currie of Barnsley (early 90s) was another one we despised wholeheartedly.

Refs - George Courtnay and David Elleray for shocking penalty decisions in play off finals.

And as for the enemies within, i.e. all the ex players, managers, chairmen etc who took us for a ride and gave nothing in return, don't get me started on them.

Let's face it though, most of the game's real villains rarely played against us and when they did we were just another team they expected to beat.

Also, looking back, Tommy Johnson and Marco Gabbiadini were a pretty contemptible pair of Derby forwards who always made my flesh crawl, but we had the last laugh over them. Remember Tommy Johnson in floods of tears?

Shame the little cockney **** got up and ruined that game.

I'm not going to lie, everything Warnock had a problem with us about was valid really. I think Ollie being the villain is harsh, he's f**king incompetent but Mandaric was certainly the villain of that season.

What happened with Martin Allen? Never understood why we got rid so quick.

People blame Holloway for our relegation but the seeds of it were sown in pre-season by Martin '9 right back' Allen. Holloway was right, players had been signed that season with no plan or way of playing in mind. Allen seemed to sign players just to make it look like he was doing something and what kind of manager signs a player on the strength of a YouTube video?

What I remember most about Allen is him making a really big deal about colour co-ordinating the flowers at Belvoir Drive to match our kit colours. His mad antics might have worked at a small club but he was way out of his depth at Leicester and wasted the only backing we actually got from Mandaric, left the next manager that happened to be Holloway but could have been anyone, with a squad that simply wasn't good enough, was massively unbalanced and just the January transfer window to try to put it right.

Holloway didn't do himself any favours though, his over-confidence and mouth was always going to land him with the blame

The flowers and that blog!

Good to know Matty Fryatt got a BBQ utensil set.

So out of his depth...

If Peter Taylor had (or is it 'had had' - what the fvck do you say here?) a womb when Dennis Wise fvcked him, and I have it on very good authority they were having sexual relations, then I firmly believe the creation of Peter's tuna canoe and Wise's baby gravy would have made for the boss of all villains. It's name?

Peter Wise

Right, I have taken pretty much all of your suggestions and devised a poll. As I think I know who might win and am interested in 2nd and 3rd choices then I have allowed multiple choice. The poll doesn't allow a preference system unfortunately and I can't limit you to three - so will trust that you are not going to choose all of them

How do you work that out? Warnock claimed that we "stole" promotion by buying players we couldn't afford and then going into administration, ignoring the fact that we went into administration in the October and had a transfer embargo after that. The players in the promoted team were almost all bought when we were in the Premier League. The rancid little pr!ck only started going on about it after Sheff U lost out in the play-offs: in other words, doing what he always does and blaming someone else for his own failings.

As far as this poll is concerned, Wise is right up there, but the real villain is Taylor, who spent £1.6 mill on a has-been and paid him £32K a week. Complete dickhead.

Wise defo and he has to be in a central midfield pairing with Billy Davies in any worst LCFC team of all time

Christ, I had forgotten that Davies played for us

So did I! Thought 'what the hell is he talking about' and had to google it. 6 appearances - I don't remember it!

-edit-   to-be-fair, it was 1990 and I was 12. I have forgotten/blocked out a lot since I was 12!

Why isn't Sven an option?

Ummmm. because the thread has been up since 10pm last night before I put together the short list (long list) and no one mentioned him (maybe should have done) and there is only 20 options to vote on...Sorry dude.
