Cornerflag Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Maybe best to keep Vardy until the QPR visit? Just to be sure he's fully recovered. I'd like to see Schlupp back in. He's been outstanding since he came in to cover for Liam. We definitely need pace to carry the attack. Too tentative, and looking to off-load rather than press forward in the last game or two. Dyer's due a good game; he's not been anywhere near the player he was before his Achilles injury. Maybe he's being over-cautious and holding back on the afterburners?
MrSpaM Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I'll be happy as long as De Laet's back in the starting 11, Moore should not be playing at RB
Hoof_It Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 If you could get back to winning ways it would be appreciated. You had your day off with the Seaweeds. I'm sure you would rather be visiting a proper beach next year. Congratulations on winning promotion. Up the Cherries.

Although if i was NP (thank god im not!) i would be tempted to put him on the bench and possibley give him 15-20mins. I wouldn't start Dyer, mahrez has been playing too well. I'd even be tempted to start GTF over wood aswell-he's a technically gifted footballer.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Hoping we are going for a strong line-up tonight and the lads put more points towards the title. Would like to see Vardy and Mahrez start. 2-1 City (Vardy, Nugent)

EddieG1981 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Really hoping the previous performance will get them fired up to turn it on and save some face. I think we play better against teams who have got 'something to play for' so I am optimistic for a win tonight... perhaps 1-2.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I'm off to Reading now. Gonna get a bus direct, from High Wycombe, and have a few bevvies before the game.
Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Author Posted 14 April 2014 Huge game come on City time to stand up and be counted and win this league!
billyn88 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 On the train there with an americano and a paper. LAD
Bluefoxtim Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Permutations: If we win tonight and Burnley draw or lose on Friday, we will be crowned Champions by beating QPR. If we draw tonight and Burnley lose on Friday, we will be crowned Champions by beating QPR. Correct?
Pegosteve Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Tonight has got to be the start of our Premiership campaign. Every game is going to be tough for the foreseeable future so lets start upping our game tonight. Some players are going to be playing to show NP they are worthy of a squad/starting position next season. Get stuck in, get this lot beaten, stuff QPR on Saturday, win the title at Bolton and have a party v Doncaster. Don't cock the title up now especially as I'm coming over from Spain just for the game!!

billyn88 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Burnley match tonight's result on Friday and were champions by avoiding defeat on Saturday. If we win and Burnley lose well be champions without playing. If the latter happens I'm putting money on a QPR win on Saturday!
stoughtonfox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Lucky enough to be in a box at reading Looking forward to taking the free drinks, free food, and 3 points surrounded by reading fans

billyn88 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 How did you swing that?! As bitter as it sounds I don't think I'd want to go in a box away from home. If it was free it'd be another matter!
The Doctor Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Burnley match tonight's result on Friday and were champions by avoiding defeat on Saturday. If we win and Burnley lose well be champions without playing. If the latter happens I'm putting money on a QPR win on Saturday! Wrong. We're 6 clear with 4 games left for Burnley (12) points. If burnley match our result tonight when they play blackpool we'll go into QPR 6 points clear with 9 left to play for. At best they can catch us on goal difference. If we win and burnley lose we'll be 9 clear with 9 to play for going into QPR, which again is only goal-difference. To make it mathematically certain, we need 4 more points than them over this week (a win and a draw with a blackpool win, or 2 wins with burnley drawing).
