Happy Fox Posted 10 April 2014 Author Posted 10 April 2014 3 points and a step closer to securing the title which I still think will happen at QPR at home.
teblin Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Is De Laet injured? Pearson said we had a fully fit squad other than Vardy in his post match interview
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Just got my tickets for this, so I hope he plays a strong team and we get a good result.
lgfualol Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 The players will be furious if they slip up again and lose the title Had a change of heart, tempted to want Dyer on for Knocky.
Buzzell Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Kasper RDL Morgan Was Schlupp Knockeart James Drinkwater Mahrez Nugent Vardy If Vardy isn't fit then I'd start Wood. Tough game, going for a draw, 1-1
Dan Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 How is it a dead rubber game? We are trying to secure the title with Burnley on our backs, Reading are only just in the playoffs and could drop below 6th place unless they put some wins together. I'm really looking forward to this one. I have seen us lose at Reading so many times, really hope we get a positive reaction after Brighton and get back to winning ways. It is a bit for us. You're right that we still have the title to play for but.. I still think the main aim of the season has been well and truly achieved.
isleofwightfox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I'm going to this and want to see the lineup that played up until the Wigan game. If Vardy isn't fit I expect Wood to be played rather than Phillips and if that's the case think we will get at least a point. De Laet was awful against Wednesday I thought, and wasn't even on the bench for the Brighton visit. I hope he is fit and ready to put a real shift in. hoping for a win but think it might end 2-2
ealingfox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Going again so we'd better see a bloody reaction from them. I will be furious if we are within a million miles of the shit sandwich served up on Tuesday. Reading are consistently inconsistent, unless this is the one game in four where they turn up, we should win. For the obsessives among us, their recent form reads Draw, Win, Loss, Draw, Win, Loss. So get your money on a draw. Remember people on here shitting their pants at the start of the season because they'd signed Royston Drenthe?
Dan Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 I certainly didn't. You only have to see his career to see there's clearly something not right with him. Downhill slope and I bet he's not even hit 25 yet.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Someone made a good point earlier, not that it matters to us I guess. IF our players were still hungover for the Brighton game, it's pretty disrespectful to the other sides chasing a play off spot with Brighton. Put it this way, if we needed to beat Brighton to gain promotion, we'd have probably played our strongest side and have been well up for it. However, I expect Pearson to give them a kick up the arris and to play much better next time out. Draw... 2-2
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Operation Championes starts here. No doubt that after the utterly poor home game against Brighton, the team will want to prove itself and maintain the top position for the remaining five games. We'll pick up points on Monday - whether Pearson's rollicking will be enough for all three, remains to be seen. The run had to come to an end at one point and I'm glad it's now, gives the players some much-needed focus back and it acts as a reminder that you cannot take the Championship lightly. I wouldn't want to risk Vardy yet, so the same line-up that we had against Burnley (with Nugent and Wood up front) will do nicely.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Hoping for a reaction which i reckon we will get. 3-1 leicester with Nuge, mahrez and finally wasilewski.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Hopefully a nice win for Leicester Monday night. If we want this league title then that is what we need to get rid of any doubt in people's minds. COME ON YOU BLUES.

Leicesterpool Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 I think our midfield will be vital in this match, so i'd probably go with like a 3-2-3-1-1 formation. GK: Kasper CB: Wasilewski CB: Morgan CB: Moore RWB: De Laet LWB: Schlupp CM: James CM: Drinkwater CM: Hammond AM: Nugent CF: Vardy BENCH: Logan, Miquel, Konchesky, Knockaert, Mahrez, Taylor-Fletcher & Phillips. No room for Dyer I'm afraid!
