lancyclaret Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Pretty excited for this, we haven't had a penalty in a while so it's about time we had one again preferably a contentious one and certainly not a factual one. I don't know about a "factual" penalty but you might get a "fictional" one. Shame Vardy isn't playing - reduces your penalty chances.
kingcarr21 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Nothing to be embarrassed about, Col, though I prefer the twin event myself. Yep, as a dyslexic private investigator who enjoys dog-walking, I'm really looking forward to the Leeds Festival. brilliant
DangerFox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I hope the boys have had the kick up the arse they needed! That performance was terrible against Brighton. In fact the last five games have been poor except for Burnley Game! Yeovil for instance. Ok ok ok though, a great season etc. and perhaps a promotion hangover but let's finish this season on a high now, roll into next year with our tails up.
Parking Attendant Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Parking for tonights game at 'Cordwallis Reading', Bennet Road, RG2 0QX. Bennet Road is closed at the moment and so a lot of car parks are closed. Cordwallis car park will be open from 5pm. Find them opposite Lancaster Jaguar.

Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Author Posted 14 April 2014 3-1 City win Vardy, James and Mahrez. ALF with theirs.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Whilst they might have a bit more to play for this should be a massive game for any player at the club with any desire to win the league. If we win tonight it'll effectively be put to bed. Lose and we've got QPR on Saturday and Burnley could claw it back to 3 points, tbh I think it was all sort of over when they lost on Saturday but the sooner it can be mathematically put to bed the better and the longer it gets drawn out the more chance Burnley have and the more pressure there will be on us. Their dire at home and we're the best travelling team in the division and they've also got Guthrie and hopefully Williams out leaving them with midfield problems. So assuming Pearson picks something resembling our strongest XI I expect us to pick up a point minimum preferable take the 3 points.
billyn88 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 My last away game of the season - and what an away season it's been, I'm pretty confident I've seen us win away more this season than all the others (going back to 03/04) combined! Wycombe - W Charlton - L Watford - W Ipswich - W Brighton - L QPR - W Millwall - W Blackburn - D Burnley - W Personally I'm feeling a draw tonight. A kick up the bum for the players last week but I think Burnley's defeat might make them slacken a bit again. Reading are inconsistent but that means they're good sometimes so think it'll be a tough game, 1-1.
LCCFox96 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Big game tonight. We had another favour from Middlesbrough on Saturday and we need to capitalise on it. I reckon 6 more points will do the league title so a win tonight in a game in hand is a few nails in the coffin for Burnley. But basically we need to bounce back from the Brighton game. A point wouldn't be a disaster though but we need to get something. I think Pearson will go back to the side that beat Burnley with Wood in for Vardy and the other usual 10. Would prefer to see GTF get a game but I'm sure he'll be starting soon enough anyway.
KFS Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 We're going to make a racket tonight. Really up for this.
cjslcfc Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 We are going to win and win well, I can feel it in my bones. 3-1 to the champions (we will concede from a set-piece unsurprisingly)
eye666 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Watch out for one of the corporate boxes going mental tonight - packed full of City fans munching on our prawn sandwiches...
Silverdaz Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Wouldnt surprise me at all if we now lost our 5 remaining matches, after all the hard work has been done now hasnt it??
stripeyfox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I presume there will be a minute's silence before the game in memory of those who died at Hillsborough. I am sure it will be impeccably observed by all, as it seems to have been up and down the country this weekend. Although was it QPR v Forest where it turned into an impromptu minutes applause? How hard is it to keep quiet for a minute (assuming you are not my missus)?

I'm indifferent between the silence and applause, the big advantage of the latter is it drowns out the morons. Also a very heartwarming rendition of YNWA by some of the Wigan fans around us. The display from the Man City end at Anfield yesterday was good to see as well. Shame some idiots in the Chelsea end couldn't behave themselves for a minute. This is not suggesting that we ditch Hillsbrough tributes but it would be good to have one for Bradford and Ibrox as well - it's only a minute once a year.

Ibrox and Bradford should be done aswell I agree. And Heysel really aswell
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 These are a strange team, very inconsistent. 1-0 Leicester, Nugent.
Babylon Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 We have lacked pace the last few games, Brighton we had no Dyer, Vardy, De Laet or Schlupp. So I'd like to see three of them in the team.
BHAFC Braders Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Good luck Tonight , will be cheering you on COYF
MC Prussian Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Good luck Tonight , will be cheering you on COYF Out of completely selfless reasons, I assume?
CPW22 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I expect a response from us tonight. That combined with Reading's home form should see us win. 0-2 with Wood & Nugent scoring,
BHAFC Braders Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Out of completely selfless reasons, I assume? of course *hides the league table*
N8 Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 let me know if anyone needs a ticket tonight and can meet in london to collect
