Happy Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 This is the team I expect to see our best f**King 11. Kasper De Laet Morgan Wasyl Schlupp Knockaert Drinkwater James Mahrez Vardy (if fit which I expect he may well be ) Nugent Subs: Wood, GTF, Logan, Moore, Konchesky, Hammond and Dyer. Result 2-1 away win Vardy and Nugent with our goals and McCleary with their consolation.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I hope Pearson gives them a big kick up the arse Promoted or not the way they played last night wasn't good enough full stop
lgfualol Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Christ, I'm actually not looking forward to this. Agree with starting that team. If Vardy is injured/pissed still then GTF. I reckon we'll lose this one, then get back on track with some wins to finish the season. 2-1 Reading, Nuge with our goal.
Jimothy Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 How pissed off are Reading gonna be. We get promoted, have a piss up, and get battered by one of their play off rivals, and then will be raring to go to face them!
Socks Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 we need to play our best team so agree with that line up Pearson needs to sort them out and has got 5 days, have faith BUT...... Reading were shite last night and I think we will be up for it after last nights escapades I still think we only need to won 2 of our 5 games though as i think Burnley will drop points (4 i think) too
KFS Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I'm going to this, first chance to alleviate some emotions from over the weekend. COME ON BOYS
Dickov22 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Our best 11 for me Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Knockaert James Drinkwater Mahrez Nugent Vardy If Vardy's not fit then I'd be happy to see either of GTF or Wood as they were both decent last night. Wouldn't mind seeing Dyer start either. Always a threat
Dan Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 We'll win this 0-2. These have been shite for a while. In-fact looking at the form table I'd have argued Sheff Weds was a harder game than this. Dickov's team spot on too. I'd play that. We miss Vardy a hell of a lot.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 KS De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Wood/Vardy We have had our hang over and the lads will have longer to recover for this one. I expect a win. 2-1 to us.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 3-0 Reading. If we play like last night 5-0 ReadingIf we play like most of the season 2-1 Leicester!!!
Captain... Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Ok, we all know our best team when everyone is fit, but there is a good chance Vardy won't be. We've tried starting with Wood up front with Nugent, didn't really work, we've tried Kev up front with Nugent, didn't work, We could try GTF, but I think it will suffer the same problem. Our game plan revolves around 2 mobile strikers, one deeper than the other, harrying and defending from the front terrorising the defence with pace and tenacity. That is not GTF, good to bring on to help see out a game, or Kev, good to bring on when we need someone to poke one over the line, or Wood apart from when he first signed we haven't really worked out how to get the best out of him. So we want to make as few changes to our formation as possible, but swapping Vardy for Wood, GTF or Kev won't allow us to play in the same way. How about: James Drinkwater Dyer Knocky Mahrez Nugent Knocky in the free role, a lot of people have commented on his energy levels, and his willigness to chase and win the ball recently, he doesn't have the pace of Vardy, but he can pick the lock of the defence and play that killer ball to release Dyer, Mahrez and Nugent. This is also the sort of formation a lot of Prem teams adopt, If Vardy is still out on Monday this is how I would line-up.
weller54 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Let's give the player's the benefit of the doubt after last night.. Over celebrations, bad day at the office????... They need to put all that right against Reading!!!!....
Brooksy Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 The players will be determined to put things right again after last night to push on and seal the title. Comfortable away win. Vardy to bag.
Simo86 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Is De Laet injured? No Pearson said there wasn't any injuries in his interview after the Brighton game
Corky Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 If all our regulars are fit they should play, Pearson will want a response and I think we'll get it. 2-1 win.
StanSP Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I think I'm sorry for that. Will Reading feel our wrath after the dismal Tuesday performance vs Brighton? Can we go one step closer to becoming champions? Apparently 2300 tickets sold already for Monday night's fixture. Good effort already.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 If all our regulars are fit they should play, Pearson will want a response and I think we'll get it. 2-1 win. Hopefully this
Dan Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 2,300 is a quality effort for yet another $ky piss-take and effectively a dead rubber game in some regards.
surrifox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 2,300 is a quality effort for yet another $ky piss-take and effectively a dead rubber game in some regards. agree. We do have a good record when our games have been shown on Sky this season though
Vicki Vixen Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 2,300 is a quality effort for yet another $ky piss-take and effectively a dead rubber game in some regards. How is it a dead rubber game? We are trying to secure the title with Burnley on our backs, Reading are only just in the playoffs and could drop below 6th place unless they put some wins together. I'm really looking forward to this one. I have seen us lose at Reading so many times, really hope we get a positive reaction after Brighton and get back to winning ways.
Fox92 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Reading are so inconsistent and poor, especially at home. We should be looking to win imo. Kasper De Laet -- Morgan -- Was -- Schlupp Mahrez -- Drinkwater -- James -- Knockaert Nugent -- Vardy (if fit/please be fit)
