Last nights pitch invader vs Brighton

So were was everyone then? "Someone go first then we'll all follow"... Leave the guy to suffer a stadium ban, or whatever punishment it is.

I hope the club aren't complete arseholes about this.

I also want to win the lottery

We're the police wearing baseball caps. We're they going to rap you to death? Egotistical twats - allegedly.

And stop correcting my spelling, bloody phone

I reckon 1 year stadium ban?? Wouldn't be surprised if they even publish it to deter anyone trying in the next couple of games.

Based on the police presence I reckon he should face the chair.

Just seeing the still frame on the vid without playing it confirms that, yes, I do know him.

Hopefully he'll have been in convivial mood and won't have given anyone any bother, so they're as nice to him as they can be.

Silly sausage

Hope he gets banned.

He knows the rules like everyone else, he hardly looks like he's been to Harvard so not surprising really.

Maybe I should of drink drove last night ''I know officer but but but we are promoted let me off''

Here's a question...

If that guy ran on the pitch, was tackled by some stewards, walked off by some stewards, taken to the holding cells in the ground and given a ban by the stewards/someone from the club... what were all those police in caps and riot gear there for?!

Surely they were paid to stop a pitch invasion. A pitch invasion is an arrestable offence, So why did all 60 of them just stand there and let the stewards deal with it?

After all the guy committed the very offence they were there to stop didn't he?!

Difference being drink driving can kill. Running on the pitch at the end, although "an offence", didn't do anyone any harm. Abit daft on his part but not worthy of a long ban imo. Maybe until the end of the season as a slap on the wrist. Nothing more than that required.

I hate people using this an an example, ridiculous comparison. One is putting people's lives at risk, the other is harmlessly running onto a patch of grass. Fair enough rules are rules but you can't seriously compare the two.

jesus christ have a day-off, he went on the pitch boo bloody hoo. Comparing a one-man pitch invasion and drink driving, how absurd. No wonder our atmosphere is shite most games with people like you in the ground. I mean, what harm did that do to you?

So we should now base crime on the fact of whether it harms or kills people?

So another scenario. Someone breaks into your car overnight, you were tucked up in bed. This act hasnt killed or harmed you in any physical way.

Would that be ok and you wouldn't report it to the police? Didn't think so

The owner of the car is harmed because its damaged, stuffs been nicked and now there is a huge repair bill. What did that pitch invader do, squash a blade of glass. They still don't compare.
