Last nights pitch invader vs Brighton

Entitled to my opinion and it's shared by a plenty of people.

this is a forum for debate, remember

Wow, really going for the 'Freedom of Speach' angle.

Yes we are all entitled to an opinion, correct.

However that does not mean you are correct in your opinions.

The bloke ran on a football pitch, your car wasnt broken into, your house wasn't burgled, no one was put at risk.

Basically you are over the top, you may even now realise it but are not willing to accept it.

Crawl back in your hole.

Really????

So you equate running on a football pitch with drink driving??

Wow, what little fascist world do you live in??

(clearly you haven't been to 'Harvard' either, your grammar is appaling, 'should of' should be should've or should have)

You don't quite get it.

My point being, using extreme examples like I did - is that a crime is a crime regardless of the act and whether it physically hurts someone or not. The poster seem to think as it didn't "hurt anyone" it didn't warrant being a crime.

Apologies for grammar and spelling, I was at work more than likely typing quick. I'm an number cruncher not a grammar specialist.

Not willing to accept it?? That is a football forum, don't need to get all pissy. I haven't spared a thought for accepting anything until you mentioned it just then. Jesus lol

Just a little heads up mate, if someone on here is hounding you for your poor spelling and grammar, a good comeback I find is usually pointing out their mistakes back....

That's me that is. I hope I didn't offend any fans by doing it, to be honest I was a bit gob smacked I was the only one! I wanted to be a part of the history and in my mind on the way down there I just thought "tonight's for the fans", so I went for it. I had no problems with the staff or police, I did everything they asked of me while I was held in detention and the police decided not to charge me. Apparently the club will send me a letter with a decision on whether I get a ban or not. Fingers crossed ;-)

Thing is I am not that worried about my spelling, I will spell things wrong when typing fast, it happens. If he goes down the spelling angle to have a pop then I feel for him!

I was actually trying to make a point on the comparison of crimes, but he didn't understand. So I think spelling is the least of his worries....

Fair play to you sounds like you've dealt with the consequences maturely, shame you made a stupid decision in the 1st place but hey if no one ever did anything stupid life would be pretty boring

Hope it goes well for you!

Hope he gets banned.

He knows the rules like everyone else, he hardly looks like he's been to Harvard so not surprising really.

Maybe I should of drink drove last night ''I know officer but but but we are promoted let me off''

Jesus where did you dream that stereotype up from, you are just too funny

Oh the irony! Mr Gardner, people in glass houses

The following are also laws in the United Kingdom, what do you think should happen to people who break them?

  • Mp's are not allowed to wear armour in parliament
  • It is still an offence to beat or shake any carpet rug or mat in any street in the Metropolitan Police District, although you are allowed to shake a doormat before 8am.
  • It is illegal to keep a pig sty in front of your house.
  • It is illegal to erect a washing line across any street
  • It is illegal to wilfully and wantonly disturb people by ringing their doorbells or knocking at their doors - Even if it has a cute name like Ding Dong Ditch, Knock Knocky or Ring and Run.

Funny how we can mis-interpret each others points.

I often make typos and laugh when I see people pick people up for spelling or grammar.

The reason I picked you up was that I found it rather ironic that you slagged off the pitch invader by mockingly talking about him 'not going to Harvard'.

Not particularly bothered about your spelling, its your apparent right wing interpretation of law and the need to implement it to the letter, that's what I had problems with.

The bloke ran on a pitch for gods sake!!!!

Is that you, E?

Ben in L1 rang us after the game and said it was you getting led past them.  It looked like a good natured incursion and sounds like it was treated as such so fingers crossed the club won't take it any more seriously than the coppers did.

You daft sod!

If you aren't worrried about spelling why did you pick up on it then? Odd especially when you do it yourself and laugh when others pick up on it. Maybe that's the only point you can make lol

So you assume my political view swings to the right based on what I said on a pitch invader? get a grip mate. That isn't actually the case and has nothing to do with this whatsoever

This is getting v pedantic and I can't be arsed to labour my point anymore to you, more important things going on in the world. Next time pick an argument you can actually win.

I thought his post was quite conciliatory, and explained why he picked-up on your spelling. The fact that you cannot respond in an equally mature manner merely reinforces the negative image that people appear to have of you.

No Pitch invasion at LCFC we are to nice for things like that.

Anyway the Donny match will be full of season ticket holders mates on a day trip,

Feels sorry for the true fans that won't get to this game.

If so called "true fans" want a ticket for Donny,im sure they can/would/will get them if they try.

Yeah it's me dude. Made sure I didn't go near the players or interrupt the game or anything so this is just about being on the pitch at the end - nothing more. I would expect to be banned for the rest of the season and in fairness if the rest of the blue army had gone for it this would be a completely different discussion!!

Supported the club for 25yrs from here and overseas. Everytime i've been away they've been in the top flight so this is the first time in my life I get to see them in the prem. I know that probably makes doing it all the more stupid but as I said I am a bit gobsmacked I was the only one!!

If it's anymore than just to the end of the season, the club are a joke. It was a daft thing to do on your own but you did it after the final whistle and showed no mallace. Pathetic if its next season aswell.
