Matt Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 why didnt everyone follow him on, this will be our 2nd promotion now with no pitch invasion, what was everyone scared off? Well answer your own question. You're asking why everyone else didn't follow, you obviously didn't. Why didn't you "hook em' out"?
Bettsj2 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Pitch invasions should be born out of spontanious joy and not pre-planned like some school kids completing a dare. Glad it didnt happen. We pay loads to keep our pitch in good condition. Having it trampled by 20,000 lumps of plastic would probably cost £100k to put right.

We pay loads to keep our pitch in good condition. Having it trampled by 20,000 lumps of plastic would probably cost £100k to put right. Gonna pick up on two things in this post. Pre planning a pitch invasion like school kids completing a dare - When two 'firms' get together can we have information on arrangements then we can all stand in a circle shouting 'FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!' And also regards to the pitch being tramped on costing £100k to put right - I do believe it's being dug up and relayed during the summer anyway - Obviously the season isn't over yet but still... I'm getting very bored of this whole arguement now, if there is one i'll join in, but can't say i'm bothered if there's one or not, I'm not one for saying 'told ya so' but I do remember threads discussing a pitch invasion earlier in the season and I said I doubt they'll even be on and I had a few people laughing and saying without doubt there will be one, we've waited 10 years for this, well whether there is one or not remains to be seen but for the moment it seems like i'm right, I think if there was going to be one, it'd have happened. The only way I see it happening now is when we clinch the title, depending on how and when that happens (Just as a disclaimer add some 'ifs' in there maybe) but I stand by my comments that I doubt they'll be one.
LMlcfc Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 il tell you know, i was in the detention room with him and they looked like there giving him a heavy ban, the club are absolute arse holes.
Larry_LCFC Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 il tell you know, i was in the detention room with him and they looked like there giving him a heavy ban, the club are absolute arse holes. Why were you in there with him? Did you blow some bubbles or something?

danny. Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 i dont think you have the brain capacity to understand the concept so i'll retract from anything else on the subject. Tommy, you should be careful making statements like that, when you confused the words "of" and "have" in an earlier post.

Raj Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 heard from a fan from another club that we are laugh stock the thing is the police were there stop people get on the pitch but dont do the job right 2 the police were wind the fans up keep them pen in 3 some doncaster fans think that the end of season game will be sam bailey at half time and the trophy at the end players walk around then that it I agree. P.S hope he gets a ban through our `Premier League seasons.
Agent Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Leicester City - The only club in the land where a promotion is not celebrated with a pitch invasion.
Agent Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 So we should now base crime on the fact of whether it harms or kills people? So another scenario. Someone breaks into your car overnight, you were tucked up in bed. This act hasnt killed or harmed you in any physical way. Would that be ok and you wouldn't report it to the police? Didn't think so You, my friend, are what we call in Ireland, an EEJIT!!!
lavrentis Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Fair play to the man, I did not know this happened but when he ran on many more should have followed him
Matt Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Leicester City - The only club in the land where a promotion is not celebrated with a pitch invasion. Should that belong in this thread? http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/93412-record-breakers/?hl=%2Bleague+%2Brecords
broughtonblue Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 What is so special and important about going on the pitch?
wiltshirefox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Pitch invasions are pointless unless its spontaneous. If we got promoted with a late winner in the last game of the season then a pitch invasion would be heartfelt and spontaneous. But the idea of planning a pitch invasion weeks beforehand on an internet forum pretty much sums up everything that is wrong with modern football.
Voll Blau Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 lol I like it Tommy that's ridiculous to compare it drink driving. I'm amazed at how many people seem to want to punish others for enjoying themselves. We must have the most miserable fan base in the country, bad feeling our "celebrations" at the Donny game are going to be a bit of a laughing stock, I'm getting images of fans booing, Birch conducting it with a club written script, Sam Bailey signing we are the champions and lads who aactually know how to have a good time without being told what to do looking at each other thinking "what the actual **** is this". I was intending to run on in my Unabomber Knockaert hat, put it on him, sniff some poppers then tackle as many other fans on the pitch as possible ala Filbert Street v Oxford. This is going to be biggest "match day family championship celebration experience brought to you by Air Asia and Skybet" we have ever seen isn't it? Glad I'm going to be leathered in Germany with about a dozen other City fans on that Saturday, much better than clapping in the stand because people believe the warning about the players not coming out to celebrate if we're all naughty and run on the pitch.
Unabomber Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 What is so special and important about going on the pitch? It's the ultimate footballing taboo.

Only reason to do it now would be if we secure the title.
Stonegold Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Should of payed him a weeks wages as he looked to be the only bloke in a leicester shirt on the pitch that gave a shyte
Weller in Tights Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Hope he gets banned. He knows the rules like everyone else, he hardly looks like he's been to Harvard so not surprising really. Maybe I should of drink drove last night ''I know officer but but but we are promoted let me off'' Really????So you equate running on a football pitch with drink driving?? Wow, what little fascist world do you live in?? (clearly you haven't been to 'Harvard' either, your grammar is appaling, 'should of' should be should've or should have)
