Xen Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Maybe i should read other posts before thinking I'm clever Great minds think alike
Renart Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Um, does it not seem a bit weird and unprofessional to be dropping names of a player on a fan's forum? What do you expect to achieve with this? Surely if you are interested in Leicester signing the player then the best thing to do is to contact the club - if you are who you say you are with a link established with the club then they would at least listen (whether they act or not is a different matter). By posting on a forum then surely you are increasing the stock of a player that might have been flying under the radar of other English teams!
Stadt Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 How many other players have you suggested that haven't gone on to be good pros? I'm not doubting your ability but if you throw enough shÃt some will stick.
Fox92 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Nothing to get excited about when you consider we were 'linked' with Cruyff.
Fox92 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Attention seeking weirdos belong on facebook. I'd say just attention seekers!
maxwelld_ Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Do you know what, there are some condescending pricks on this forum. Fair play to you mate. Hope walshy and co take a look
Legend_in_blue Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 This needs putting in the transfer rumours section. Rename it ivarti's thread.
bob gregory Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Are you all completely mental,,... Clearly attention seeking
bob gregory Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Why would you post that tho,, what's the fvcking point!!!!! REALLY!!!! I for one ain't having it, my guess is that he's been up on a coke mcap ket fueled binge for the last 3 sleepless days and nights without friends, cheating championship manager into thinking Hinckley United are European champions, again
Buzzell Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 As a scout in Scandinavia I have over the years recomended players to Leicester from time to time. two of them were very young unknown players, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Kim Kallstrom, both teenagers at the time playing in Sweden, and almost unknown outside Scandinavia. Branimir Hrgota is a name that I will recomend for Leicester City, we will see in a year or two how good this player will be, but he is one with a bright future. The manager in charge turning down Kallstrom and Ibrahimovic was Peter Taylor, and his staff or members, great judgment. What do you want? A medal?
Bayfox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Little rejected davor suker after having him on trial. Imagine "here's what you could have watched"
Carlos88LCFC Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Ibrahimovic was a professional by the time Taylor was the Leicester manager and the year after he went Ajax... Next please. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Why are you telling us this? Keen on making a quick buck, I suppose.
AKCJ Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 I was the scout for my fantasy football side when we recommended Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez to the manager. This was in 1957, shame the gaffer is a stubborn ****.
CosbehFox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Because I believe that Branimir Hrgota could be the next great Swedish player in European football. He is at the moment playing in Borussia Monchengladbach and one City manager Nigel Pearson should have a Close look at. The future for City is to do what Klopp has done at Dortmund, bringing in players With the right potential !!! Yes I'm sure Gladbach challenging for an Champions League will happy to pass on their best prospects.

Richard Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 He turned down Arsenal, Roma and Monaco in 2001 http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/2009/04/24/how-zlatan-ibrahimovic-nearly-joined-arsenal/
Jace Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 I advised Martin Allen to buy Lionel Messi but he wasn't interested without a youtube video to back it up.
ivarti Posted 13 April 2014 Author Posted 13 April 2014 Yes of course Zlatan was a pro at Malmo, and Kim played for Hacken, both in Sweden. Malmo was a 2nd tier team that season, 2000, and this finished in October / November, and the notice was send in June / July, when Zlatan played in Swedish 2nd division. Malmo won the 2nd division that season and went up, the rest is history and he joined Ajax. Leicester was in that time a Premier Leauge team, and had a higher standing than Ajax, since getting a chance in England and the Premier League would the best way possible to start a Professional career. The reason for me posting this is of course to show that Leicester as a club must be better in their coaching and system to find the best players and at the moment they have no developed system up here in the North of Europe. They are not as Professional as they should be in their approach to find the best players, but as I said Leicestershire is a Place to start looking first, since some of the best players are from this area, Shilton, Lineker, Heskey, are Three very good examples. Branimir Hrgota is a Young player that at the moment is not a regular at BM Gladbach, but one in the making. He joined BM Gladbach from a 2nd tier team in Sweden and they know how to spot talent. I am a Reader of this forum and a Leicester fan, so thats why I posted it on this forum. Regarding Sven, I was not involved and as I said in the post, never had any Professional Connection With the club since Alan Hill left and that was a number of years before Sven got appointed. Leicester City is a massive club, With a massive potential, let's hope that NP will manage it well NeXT season. Branimir Hrgota was just a name put forward, and I will probably not recomend this player to Leicester, since I posted it here, but that was of course a reason to just show you all what this post was all about. When you sign Trevor Benjamin and Ade Akinbiyi for £ 6,5 million or so, and you could have signed Kim and Zlatan for a price of around £ 1 milion for both at the time, you are surely not doing Your job. i have since that day made two recomendations to Leicester City, one player in Norwegian Tippeliga, now in his 30's, then 27 or so, and Daniel Nannskog who has been the top scorer in Norway several times after that. Daniel played in Landskrona Bois back then, and has since been a pro in Germany, China and Norway, he is now retired. I am not running around With names here and there, and at the moment only Branimir would be a typical player to look for, but he was picked up by BM Gladbach, and not Leicester, why ? because Leicester was not around when the sale happened. The signings for the French duo Mahrez and Knockaert are of course ok, but for inflated prices and picked up at a time when they were allready discovered.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Who cares about bloody Zlatan! WE have GTF! No competition..
Mack Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Many more players have potential than actually achieve anything in the game. For any youth system it's about taking calculated risks with as little risk as possible. Personally I'd prefer English teams to cultivate English talent as a first priority.
