Jimothy Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Leicester as a club must be better in their coaching and system to find the best players. Got to this bit and stopped reading. You're talking about a regime from 14 years ago! We've changed manager and coaching staff more than 10 times since then! We now have an excellent scouting set up which has helped bring in some great young talent from both here and abroad.
sdb Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 I genuinely worry about people who respond to a stranger making an interesting point on a football forum by getting angry and insulting them. Lighten up, folks! Is there anything you won't get knotted up about??
ivarti Posted 13 April 2014 Author Posted 13 April 2014 The point With this tread is to show that Leicester are just working flow, and if you look at all the rumours posted on the site here, they are often 100 % correct. This shows that Leicester is just a club that Works on command from different agents around in Europe and England, and not really doing a good job themselves in certain areas, comes to the table when everyone else is there and not really getting the goods that is unique and great, before everyone else knows the same. Why did Dortmund get Lewandowski, Kagawa and a lot of other great players, because they are not dependent on agents telling everyone who to sign. Leicester needs a New and better edge to stay up in the Premier, and at the moment their system is not 100 % ok, let's hope they will be in time to survive. The game v. Brighton shows that City lack a lot in Depth ...

Now I'm convinced you're a wum, but everyone deserves a reasoned(albeit sarcastic) response in case they were having a moment of daftness: Who hadn't heard of "Anthony Knockaert" and " Riyad Mahrez" before they came to Leicester? We could have saved so much money by sending our scouts to a foreign country to search the lower divisions for unknown players who could do a job and make the step up with us instead of relying on agents to trick us into buying big name players discarded from footballing giants like Le Havre or Guingamp. And the Brighton match: Our first defeat since December - and one only brought about by blood-alcohol content more than anything else - is proof of our lack of depth? Do you actually follow Leicester? To me it sounds like you're basing your opinion on a cursory glance of the scoreline instead of the generally accepted knowledge that our team has one of the best benches in the league.
Jace Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 The game v. Brighton shows that City lack a lot in Depth ... Ah yes I was wondering why we were so poor against Brighton
ivarti Posted 13 April 2014 Author Posted 13 April 2014 This is not a place for proper discussions. It's a place for hostile comments and somewhere People With football knowledge will stay away from, sorry, but thought this was a forum for that, but surely something else, goodbye !!!!

It's a place for hostile comments and somewhere People With football knowledge will stay away from, sorry, but thought this was a forum for that, but surely something else, goodbye !!!! Why would a "football agent" come onto a football forum and openly discuss his "track record"? Bit of a strange maneuver to boast about it on here, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, but the "proper" and successful ones don't need to make a big fuss about it.
Guest Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 The City hate boys dive into the thread. I'm sure that it's because they are wannabees and resent anyone with a greater link to football than them. If you're not interested don't post but as with all light "itk" posts you have to disparage and stop these people posting.
CosbehFox Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Yep playing for Leicester rather that world famous nurturing club Ajax would a bad move!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 I trust NP to bring in the right players. End of.

The guys come on here and basically called the clubs recruitment policy, based on the fact he apparently told them 14 years ago about two players. He's also criticised them for signing Knockaert and Mahrez because they were apparently already known, dispute languishing at shite French teams. And he criticised our strength in depth based on one result against Brighton when the team were still recovering from a massive piss up, and completely over looking the previous 21 games unbeaten where we'd proved our strength in depth. And you expect people not to shoot him down?

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 There's a great deal of hate on this thread now. What a big fuss over nothing.
Stadt Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 I don't think it's hate, it's people rightly calling him out as a pleb.

Imagine Lewandowski was here i think Pearson has a few diamonds up his sleeve for this year. Players we have never heard of probably, but they seem to be the best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TJB-fox Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Sorry pal but every club misses out on gems! Arsenal turned down Zlatan too, don't forget. I trust Pearson and wouldn't want our whole scouting department messed around with just because we missed out on 2 swedish fellas. Bringing in players like Mahrez Knockaert etc is fine with me!
DB11 Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Yeah but if they'd have come to Leicester they'd have destroyed their careers and become nobodies
Finnaldo Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 Yeah but if they'd have come to Leicester they'd have destroyed their careers and become nobodies Had they signed he'd be down Oadby Town with Levi Porter by now.
One Legged Beaver Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 May I ask how many other Scandinavians you have recommended that haven't turned out so well?
HitchinFox Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 When you could have signed Kim and Zlatan for a price of around £ 1 milion for both at the time, you are surely not doing Your job. Erm. £1m? That is blatanlty not true. Arsenal, Ajax and a couple of Italian clubs were after Zlatan too - back in 2000 - for a lot more than £1m. In other words, Zlatan's value was already recognised well before Peter Taylor became Leicester manager in July 2000. Zlatan was a high-profile youth player as soon as he broke into the Malmö first team - and that 2000 season in the Superettan made him the most-talked about talent in Scandinavian football (domestically). When Zlatan eventually went to Ajax in 2001, he was regarded as the next big thing and his transfer fee was around £6m. Are you telling me that had Leicester bought him a few months earlier, he would have been £5m cheaper - and a relative unknown? This is a pretty odd claim, especially as the Swedish football season runs through the summer (so no games between November-February). So according to you, his value shot up massively mainly thanks to his winter training regime? I don't doubt your credentials - afterall, who would come on here to make stuff up - but I doubt that Zlatan was available to Leicester, especially for a mere £1m. Don't forget that he turned down Arsenal. In any case, it wouldn't have taken a visionary to back a player of Zlatan's stature back in 2000 - as proven by the fact that he was already on the radar of many leading European clubs back then.
bob gregory Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 It's good to dream tho I dream of buying city back from foreign control after winning the 5000000000000 record euro lottery. He's just living his dream on our forum, he ain't no harm, bless.. Bet he's a smashing scout

Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 "The signings for the French duo Mahrez and Knockaert are of course ok, but for inflated prices and picked up at a time when they were allready discovered." You what? It's been made quite clear this past week that NP hasn't bought anyone for an inflated price. You honestly think bringing in a European player who hasn't been discovered at all isn't in the slightest bit risky? Although in saying that, I'm not convinced I know exactly what you are thinking.
