The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 If Leicester are champions and Burnley do finish 2nds, don't you want Derby going up through the play-offs? We always seem to get 6 points a season off the Rams while the Foxes have beaten them easily THREE times this season. After their record 12-point season Premier season five years ago, I reckon Derby very probably would fill one of the relegation places. Would rather shite razor blades for a month than them to come up with us. Want them to rot fvcking hate them. I was wondering how to reply to this as I love the away day in The Navigation Then I saw sylofox's reply and thought this was more in keeping with my thoughts
MGLCFC Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Whilst it would be great to be crowned champions after a game, I'd take the title when ever it comes, so if Wigan win today, I'll be delighted.
lancyclaret Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I think most neutrals are expecting Wigan to win today even though Burnley are at home. For me, a draw would be a decent result even if it means we will need to get a result in our last 2 games. As for the poster, who mentioned Brian Laws being our manager in the PL last time - if we ever appointed him again or anyone remotely as bad I'd chuck myself in the nearest canal. We could have stayed up that season 2008/2009 if we had chosen a successor to Coyle with even half a brain cell.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 And why will we come below Wigan? I'm not saying we will, just think they are a team full of premier league quality players (and Waghorn .) Would much rather a weaker side like Bournemouth went up, as I'm 100% sure we would finish above them.
sly1 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Wigan 3_0 waghorn to score the winner up the foxes let's get it done &dusted then party time.
Loggy88 Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Really don't mind weather we confirm it today without playing or tomorrow when we play at Bolton. Just so happy we have finally got promotion back to the premier league after 10 long years. Winning the title is the cherry on top of the cake.
Ricey Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I won't be there on Tuesday but I still want us to do it ourselves and have the players and fans celebrate together, at long last.
Mark_w Posted 21 April 2014 Author Posted 21 April 2014 Don't think Waggy is in the squad. Bloody hope one of their strikers picks up a knock in the warm up.

Mark_w Posted 21 April 2014 Author Posted 21 April 2014 How can Fortune start ahead of him? He is the definition of a donkey! Think he must be resting him for the Play-Offs, he's been starting pretty regularly and has a pretty good goal/assist return so far. I'm absolutely gutted, would have loved him to have scored the goal that clinched us the title.
Happy Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Wigan's team is still strong even without Waghorn they will be beat Burnley no question about that imo.

One Legged Beaver Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 What are the commentators on in the 5 live commentary; "This division is so tight, there isn't much between the top team and bottom team."
glenelgfox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 What are the commentators on in the 5 live commentary; "This division is so tight, there isn't much between the top team and bottom team." 56 points is close!
dogadug Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Everyone who's going tomorrow wants Burnley/draw, everyone else wants Wigan
