Foxy harry Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 i never knew this happened to big was sorry if its a pretty obvious ,well known thing not for the squemish though
Fox42 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Wouldn't it be lovely if a prem club signed Witsel this summer and Wasyl were to bump into him again...
AKCJ Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I would pay good money to watch Wasyl kick the living shit out of Witsel.
st albans fox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 his recovery from that career threatening injury is one of the reasons the anderlecht faithful 'worship' the big man.
Bryn Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 They've already played against each other in the Champions League. They shook hands.
jimmer Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 They've already played against each other in the Champions League. They shook hands. Stop spoiling it
DennisNedry Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 It is horrible but I thought everybody knew that's why he's here with us now. I reckon that sort of horrendous challenge was probably revenge for a big Was elbow.
Unabomber Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 They've already played against each other in the Champions League. They shook hands. Nah they didn't.
Bryn Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Nah they didn't. Many people viewed the first game between Zenit and Anderlecht as a meeting between Marcin Wasilewski and Axel Witsel. The tackle Witsel made on the Polish defender in 2009 broke Wasilewski`s leg. Witsel even received death threats from Anderlecht fans and Polish fans of Wasilewski. The Polish international didn`t intend to give Witsel a handshake in St. Petersburg. However, the reconciliation of the old acquaintances still took place at Petrovsky. "I wanted to avoid spoiling the whole atmosphere of the match. I didn`t want it to all turn into my duel with Witsel." – explained Wasilewski. The Pole won`t be able to confirm his friendliness in Brussels though: Wasilewski earned a yellow card at Petrovsky, his third in the tournament, and will miss the match in Brussels. http://en.fc-zenit.ru/main/news/ct3/56328.html
CosbehFox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Nah they didn't.They did. Wasyl originally was going to refuse but he felt it could detract from the game itself, therefore shook his hand.http://en.fc-zenit.ru/main/news/ct3/56328.html
AKCJ Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 They've already played against each other in the Champions League. They shook hands. Blah blah blah, not listening. Everyone knows that Wasyl will murder him.
Mark_w Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Wouldn't it be lovely if a prem club signed Witsel this summer... Yeah, us.
The Doctor Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 They've already played against each other in the Champions League. They shook hands. Did witsel come out with a broken hand/arm?
Fox42 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 Did witsel come out with a broken hand/arm?He came out with a new joint in the neck
LCCFox96 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 At his age - 33 going on 34 - to come off the back of such a horrendous injury a few years ago and still be able to play as many games as he has in a physical, competitive league like the championship is impressive. He's a real athlete. I think he's been one of NP's best signings at leicester.
