BlackburnClaret Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Can't deny the facts, draws against those sides isn't exactly good, not to say you won't survive though but not a great start. Hardly a disaster either though. I firmly feel once Vokes and Ings are reunited we will step up a level.

Fox92 Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Burnley didn't concede again, that's a plus, but scoring goals is vital - especially against the likes of Sunderland - still can't see them staying up mind.
Haydos Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 We are far from a poor team. We are desperately lacking a cutting edge, but are even more solid than last season. I think you'll be able to judge how poor the likes of Palace and Sunderland are once you've played them yourselves. Let's not forget they would have been expecting wins themselves against the so called poorest side in the league. I think some are being a bit clueless here. We give fans of other teams shit for not knowing anything about us or the way we play but I'm sure most people on here have not seen more than a few mins of you guys on motd. Like you say, you're lacking goals but 1 goal conceded in the last four games is not to be sniffed at. I think you could struggle because at the end of the day you need goals from somewhere but you're not just going to sink like people on here seem to think.
Stadt Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Yep, happened last year "Burnley will fall away" but they never did. As much as Dyche is a dick he's a good manager.

Guest Col city fan Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 QPR looked gash today. They simply can't defend and continually playing Rio is ridiculous. Though its early, they are looking likely relegation candidates on this form.
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Number of empty seats at Loftus Road. Fail to sell out 18,000 tickets but plan to build a ground of 40,000. Mad.
StanSP Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Number of empty seats at Loftus Road. Fail to sell out 18,000 tickets but plan to build a ground of 40,000. Mad. Fulham's lowest attendance today in 15+ years was still higher than QPR's today.
Soar Fox Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Harry & Niko lol I know which one I believe and it ain't droopy chops.

Harry - LCFC Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Burnley playing alright so far this season. Chances created just not got the players to finish them off. Sordell, Jutkiewicz and Barnes is nothing more than a decent Championship strikefore.
Stuliasz Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Harry & Niko lol I know which one I believe and it ain't droopy chops. What was said?
Stadt Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 What was said?Krancjar: "I don't practice free kicks often so it was good that it went it."Redknapp: "top player, triffic lad blah blah, he's always practising free kicks."

Sordell, Jutkiewicz and Barnes is nothing more than a decent Championship strikefore. That's not a decent championship strike force. 95 goals in 403 games at that level suggests it's anything but a decent frontline at that level let alone the premier league (at least from a goalscoring perspective).

I think most people would consider them top half players.
benpicko Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 http://soccerlens.com/leicester-city-vs-manchester-united-preview-possible-lineups-prediction/151949/ Reads as though written by somebody who knows none of our players at all
Guest ttfn Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I think most people would consider them top half players. When have any of those players been "top half"? Apart from Barnes as a substitute.
BlackburnClaret Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 When have any of those players been "top half"? Apart from Barnes as a substitute. Barnes was the player who got us over the line last year. Juke is a real surprise, in fact a fully fit Sam Vokes may struggle to get him out of the side on current form. Sordell, however, is dogshit.

The team has only scored 1 goal. If that's a pleasant surprise then you must have had really low expectations to start with, which comes back to my original point - that lot are not a decent championship strike force.
