Jimothy Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Manchester United's game v West Ham seems to be following a familiar pattern.
BlackburnClaret Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 their last two have been against palace and sunderland though, if you have any chance of staying up when you're as shit as burnley you've gotta take more than 2 points from 6 there. Bump. Not to take the piss at all, but as I said at the time, none of these teams are pushovers.
MC Prussian Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Bump. Not to take the piss at all, but as I said at the time, none of these teams are pushovers. Erm, yeah. Sure. Let's wait and see what Sunday brings us all, shall we?
Jaspa Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Bump. Not to take the piss at all, but as I said at the time, none of these teams are pushovers. That was quick You get differant types of sides in this League and teams respond differantly to whats infront of them, anything can happen next week but going of form and how we played against you last time out, I'd say weve got more reasons to be confident
KFS Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Bump. Not to take the piss at all, but as I said at the time, none of these teams are pushovers. It's sad because I can imagine him holding his cock in one hand and the mouse in the other at the final whistle. How boring must you be fellah?
Buzzell Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 https://mediacru.sh/vKUcPYNlhcj8 Take a bow son!
lgfualol Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Arsenal two players injured and subbed before half time. Absolutely useless medical/fitness team.
ScouseFox Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Bump. Not to take the piss at all, but as I said at the time, none of these teams are pushovers. yep no getting away from the fact our result today, after our start, is somewhat disappointing. for every palace/other bad team you lose to, you have to pick up points from better teams. luckily we did united last week and anyone of us would take 3 points from the 2 games, even if they were the wrong way round
BlackburnClaret Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 It's sad because I can imagine him holding his cock in one hand and the mouse in the other at the final whistle. How boring must you be fellah? Blimey, I'm only responding to an old post saying you need to win at Palace if you want to stay up. I'm pointing out you don't, because you will stay up comfortably.
StanSP Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I prefer Pelle's but Austin's was class too.
AKCJ Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Blimey, I'm only responding to an old post saying you need to win at Palace if you want to stay up. I'm pointing out you don't, because you will stay up comfortably. He didn't say that. He said that you need to take more than 2 points out of Palace away and Sunderland at home, which is correct. You can't draw your home games against sides in and around you and it's preferable that you pick up points on the road.
BlackburnClaret Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 So, if you draw at home to Sunderland too, then you're not good enough?
Matt Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 My concern is we won't get up for these games we should/need to win. It's not a kneejerk reaction after yesterday because it was a concern I had going into the game yesterday, it was a concern I had straight after last weeks win, which I mentioned in the post match thread last week. It's 'easy' to be up for games against Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Stoke (Away - tough game, you know you've got to be on the top of your game), Man Utd, but we need to be up for the games against teams that are a probably will be around us and not treat those games with contempt. We will see though, it sound abit panicky and it's very early in the season but I believe next week is must win. The points we've gained so far this season made up for yesterday's blip (And I hope, I believe it was a blip, i'll give them the benefit of doubt) but it doesn't excuse the fact we need to beat (Or atleast draw if we're away from home) the teams who will be fighting around us.
Burbo17J2 Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 So, if you draw at home to Sunderland too, then you're not good enough?i don't know why you're still posting on here... Because you're an opposition fan and i would've thought you realised how stupid people can be on here...
Corky Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 I don't think it was a case of not being up for it, we just didn't play well and maybe the tactics weren't right for the game. It didn't strike me as a Lord Mayor's situation, they didn't stroll around or not try, they couldn't get a rhythm going and eventually Palace saw us off.
BlackburnClaret Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 i don't know why you're still posting on here... Because you're an opposition fan and i would've thought you realised how stupid people can be on here... Aren't all fans a bit mental when it comes to their own team?
