cjslcfc Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Yes let's see where we are after the next 6 league fixtures..... Mnn U away Palace home Arsenal away Everton away Chelsea home Man C away .......and then panic Realistically 3 out of 6 we can get a result (I include Man Utd away as one of those but that's probably a bit hopeful even if they aren't that good)
StanSP Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 That wasn't soft (Kompany), don't even know what everyone is complaining about with regards to yesterday, but the fact we didn't get a penalty vs Villa (Hutton on Hammond) is equally embarrassing.

AdamN Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Except we are playing Man Utd away. While the fact remains true the likelyhood is becomes less. Also, we're becoming reliant on other teams results. We may have a tough run coming up, but we're not the only team that has to play those fixtures. I'm sure Burnley, Sunderland, Villa and West Brom aren't particularly looking forward to their trips to Old Trafford, either.
Unabomber Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Hope city don't ruin my bet, they look very predictable though.
Jimothy Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Can't see Arsenal holding on for the whole of the second half, they seem so much more open and have less shape this half.
ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 not sure how kompany escaped a second booking for nearly snapping alexis in half? also if fernando and fernandinho are the best cms the richest club in the world can afford then i'm getting my boots out and becoming a defensive mid.
RowlattsFox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Jeff schlupp has more end product then Jesus navas.
kingfox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Arsenal fans have been raving about Coquelin's performances, and now I see why. The kid is the perfect Defensive Midfielder.
Unabomber Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 City are shit, very pleased that Arsenal won. Hope they push on from here and make Wenger have a great season, he deserves it imo.
StanSP Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 They'll lose against Brighton or Villa in their next games.
Unabomber Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 They'll lose against Brighton or Villa in their next games. Who City? Oh no Arsenal I get ya Stan

ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Can't believe I backed them, so stupid of me. same man, same. tbf i thought arsenal were a load of shite but then suddenly they turned into brazil 1970 and cazorla turned into messi an ronaldo's lovechild. sickening.

At the end of the day you win some you lose some. In other news just watched a bit of motd and man Chelsea wtf that first half performance was wicked good.
One Legged Beaver Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 When I look at City's team I only really see a few truly world class players (Toure, Aguero and Silva.) Also not a fan of Pellegrini so I'm surprised they've kept so close to Chelsea for so long to be honest.
Dan Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Man City really are the most bland 'top' club on the planet. Happy for Arsenal really. Shame they can't produce that more often.
Fox92 Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Man City really are the most bland 'top' club on the planet. Happy for Arsenal really. Shame they can't produce that more often. Agreed. Don't even like watching them.
Dan Posted 18 January 2015 Posted 18 January 2015 Agreed. Don't even like watching them. They're occasionally very good to watch (generally when Silva's on song) but they so often just come across as nothing but a collection of expensive players with no particular game plan. Sadly I think that's all they are. Chelsea are a far better side than anyone in the country.
