Grewks Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Must be pretty sweet for those Southampton fans who were watching them in the 3rd tier not so long ago. at Utd. Could be us next year.....
Vacamion Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Did I hear that correctly? Man Utd's team cost £274m. A quarter of a billion. Blimey.
Leicesterpool Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Southampton really do look a good team but does anybody believe they'll remain in the top four come May? A lot of credit to Koeman looks like United went for the wrong dutch man.
marko Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Same number of points after 21 games as under Moyes last season and all for £160m - bargain!
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Goalkeeping coach! But doing the subs seems to be his little thing. He is kinda cute and seems to be doing a great job, I really respect him even though I don't know who he is or what he does.
Unabomber Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Watching motd man ref in the Liverpool game had a ****ing mare, I swear the standard of officiating it worse in the prem than the champ.
Corky Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Fantastic result. Southampton win to keep everything interesting with an unfancied team upsetting the order, Man United will be pissed off and should have a backlash at QPR next week.
Dan Posted 11 January 2015 Posted 11 January 2015 Man Utd were embarrassing there. The league really is as weak as I remember it this season. A top 4 place is absolutely there for the taking and I'm glad one of the unlikely sides are looking like they might just do that. Hope Southampton go all the way. Same number of points after 21 games as under Moyes last season and all for £160m - bargain! Amazing what a reputation can do for you. Imagine the stick Moyes would get for this.

A lot of credit to Koeman looks like United went for the wrong dutch man. I think they could get 4th. They've had a very tough run from November including playing Arsenal twice, Man City at home, Man U twice, Chelsea at home and they are still sitting third. Their defence looks one of the best in the league and I can see Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham going on a slump. They should now realistically start believing they could possibly do it.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I still think we're gonna get dicked at OT
One Legged Beaver Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Watching motd man ref in the Liverpool game had a ****ing mare, I swear the standard of officiating it worse in the prem than the champ. I've said that a fair few times this season. It has been truly woeful!
kingcarr21 Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I still think we're gonna get dicked at OT Ive been saying this for a while. Revenge will be on their minds. Although with our recent upturn in form we may surprise them again. Saying that if we do lose then to take 3 points of Man U over the 2 fixtures is a great return.
kingcarr21 Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Both jelavic and Hernandez could be out for 6 weeks for Hull. Great news for us. Surely there on a free fall and survival will be a really tough ask of them.
Guest MattP Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Man U can be out for all the revenge they want - the fact is they aren't that good and if we can give Liverpool a game away we should be able to do so at OT as well. The fear factor has long gone from Old Trafford, let's not fall for it.

This will be a much harder game. Will be interesting to see how the defence holds up considering how tight we have looked recently.

Southampton are a very good side.
Stevosevic Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 We have to approach the same as Liverpool away.
Dan Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Or the same as Man Utd at home. Their defence is still crap.

This will be a much harder game. Will be interesting to see how the defence holds up considering how tight we have looked recently. It is for all their attacking prowess they have still only scored less than a handful of goals more than Liverpool. It's obviously an extremely tough game but not one we should go onto with any fear, Utd haven't battered anyone this season QPR apart. Unlike the last time we played them we also go into the game with Hamer, Wasyl and Simpson instead of Kasper, Moore and De Laet and the former are clearly far more solid defensively despite being valued at considerably less.

Di Maria has been out for a while hasn't he? Can see them being a little more free scoring when he's firing on all cylinders again. I know what you mean, we need to be prepared to attack. I think Pearson has learned that this doesn't work as he seems to have scrapped that mentality. One things for sure, I can't wait to see Kram the man embarrassing Smalling.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Anyone know ANYTHING about Charles Gill? Just signed for Villa for 3.3 m Kingfox? MC?
Matt Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Erm, whilst we do need to have one eye looking forward just because we've got abit of a run going can we just keep taking it game by game please? We have Stoke next then an FA Cup game, let's not discount the important match against Stoke 1st before simply jumping to the United game that's 3 Saturdays away.
orangecity23 Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Anyone know ANYTHING about Charles Gill? Just signed for Villa for 3.3 m Kingfox? MC? I know that he doesn't spell his first name with an 'H' in it. God knows how your supposed to pronounce it. No idea what he plays like though
