foxfanazer Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 And you don't think they were throwing everything at a winner, unlike Chelsea who just sat back all match and absorbed it?If that's throwing everything at a winner then they are really shit
FireFox Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Leicester City have the best winning streak right now!
foxfanazer Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 lmao not sure if jt is trolling with these celebrationsNot quite as bad as his full kit willy puller champions league celebration To be fair he's had a brilliant season and it clearly means a lot to him
ScouseFox Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 can't be having anyone criticising chelsea for that today though. great performance from them. exactly what they needed to do and exactly what they planned to do.
foxfanazer Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Leicester City have the best winning streak right now!WE ARE MASSIVE!
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Chelsea have players to play a much more entertaining game, I wonder what the likes of hazard would do under a different nanager. In the same way I wonder what Jose would do if he managed Barcelona.

All well and good but as a spectacle for the neutral they ruin it, I've given up watching the big games that involve them.
ScouseFox Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 All well and good but as a spectacle for the neutral they ruin it, I've given up watching the big games that involve them. well yeah if you don't enjoy it don't watch it. think chelsea fc and mourinho would probably rather win the league than get sky sports one a few more viewers, though.
The Doctor Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Chelsea are dull to watch as a neutral, but ruthlessly efficient - they're a very good side.
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Mourinho just been asked about the boring boring chants from Arsenal fans...his response '10 years without a title, that's boring'!
AKCJ Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Mourinho just been asked about the boring boring chants from Arsenal fans...his response '10 years without a title, that's boring'! He's bloody brilliant. Nige and him would get on like a house on fire.
foxfanazer Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Mourinho just been asked about the boring boring chants from Arsenal fans...his response '10 years without a title, that's boring'!He's right though
Jimothy Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 He's right though He's not, it's 11 years since Arsenal won the league.
Haydos Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Mourinho just been asked about the boring boring chants from Arsenal fans...his response '10 years without a title, that's boring'! That's brilliant. Bloke's a winner, even people on here seem to be bitter about it.
Grewks Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Chelsea's lack of ambition is incredible. Chelsea created more chances than we did at Burnley. Our ambition was even worse.....its a results business
Corky Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Chelsea created more chances than we did at Burnley. Our ambition was even worse.....its a results business If we'd lost that game our opponents would've gone above us in an extremely tight part of the table. Chelsea were facing a team 10 points behind them and would've be able to return to that lead three days later. There was a difference between the importance of our match and theirs in relation to the table and the impact of the result.
Leeds Fox Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 All well and good but as a spectacle for the neutral they ruin it, I've given up watching the big games that involve them. They're not playing to entertain though, they're playing to win. Today, they prevented one of the best attacking teams in the league from scoring, earning a valuable point towards the title. They're hardly going to attack carelessly and leave gaps all over to be exploited, that would be good to watch but very foolish. They're successfully doing what we have tried to do for most of the season. However they're capable of keeping it tight and score goals, albeit not today. Anyway, some of the football Chelsea have played this season has been sensational!

This and also the fact I wasn't overly enamoured with how we played yesterday. But as others have said at this stage in the season it is all about the results.

Yeah I know and fair play to them for getting the results, I just think they're incredibly dull to watch when playing the big games so I don't bother with it.
shailen Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 This is why I like Mourinho. He does whatever he needs to do to win. Never forget that Inter masterclass which featured our very own Cambiasso, against Barcelona. Because at that time no one knew how to stop them and he was the first one to do so. Not just his tactics though, he creates a very good atmosphere in the club and makes everyone in the club feel as though they are hated by the outside world to form a togetherness and team spirit which gets that much extra from the players. His press conferences, he knows how to protect his players and take the exposure off them and put it on himself, so that they can concentrate on the game. Very, very astute man.

Fair enough mate, I was hoping for a better game today to be honest. I always have games on but barely watch them, always just end up having my attention caught with a team celebrating a goal, then I wonder why I've even bothered putting the game on if I'm not watching it.
Rincewind Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Missed the game (MOTD2) never knew the result and turned on just as it had finished. The biggest talking point seemed to be the penalty appeals. Something for City to be aware of? A couple of falling over and a couple of near calls.
LJS Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 It's fine, we have Jamie Vardy to dive about in the opposite box. I'm feeling strangely optimistic about the Chelsea game. As long as we don't get thrashed we keep the momentum I reckon.

Same here, I just don't bother anymore watching games you know that involve Mourinho parking a bus, I'd rather turn over and watch Songs of Praise than Chelsea under him on a Sunday afternoon. Hats off to him though, it does work.
