demon_dog Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Currently on holiday abroad. Have seen reports that it's hot any sunny in good old leics. Have left some plants out om my patio. What has the weather been like all this last week? Wonder if I ought to ring a neighbour to water the plants in the pots. Cheers.
goose2010 Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Its been dry and sunny last two days, its started off well today not a cloud in the sky and i would say its about 15 degrees. I would get them watered if you are away for a bit. Its meant to be better tomorrow.

Buzzell Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 sun cream weather today folks. I thought it would be a good idea to spend most of the day sitting in the sun, expecting me to come out with a beautiful, golden tan. Woke up this morning and I look like Mr Krabs from Spongebob ****ing Squarepants. My back is now in absolute agony.

Buzzell Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 Oh buzzer, sounds like me, shade is your friend. It's my best friend. But I do keep sitting in the sun hoping that one day I will be a lovely bronze colour instead of a nasty pinky red colour.Ahh well, I suppose red is better than being pale!

DennisNedry Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 I can sit out all day in sun like this and still be more pale than Queen Elizabeth I when somebody spilled milk on her When I went to Turkey a few years ago I thought I'd be the same - needless to say I was sore as hell after 1 day. Buzzer_b, you wouldn't be able to leave your room!

Buzzer_b, you wouldn't be able to leave your room! I've been Turkey mate and I have to say its very hot out there. I went when I was a youngster with the family. Yes I was the twat in the pool with the cap and t-shirt on, probably soaked in factor 50 too.I'm not as bad now though. I do still burn but after a few days it turns into a decent tan. I'm nowhere near as pale as I was back in the day.
Matt Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 It's perfect. Turning abit shite tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday though so I hear, hopefully they are wrong and if they are right hopefully it turns good again Wednesday onwards (I've not heard what it's meant to be like after Wednesday). I'd hazard a guess it's gonna be shite over next weekend though as it's a bank holiday?
lavrentis Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 One underrated part about summer imo is waking up for work/school etc whilst its light.
DennisNedry Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 One underrated part about summer imo is waking up for work/school etc whilst its light. The light through the window does help me to drag myself out of bed. It's also nice to get out of work and get home with it still light and warm.
