FoxSince88 Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Does anybody know if the club have plans to relay the pitch pre season? I attended a junior football tournament yesterday and the pitch was awful, Gave me the impression they don't mind it being wrecked.

I'm waiting for someone to say it was the pitch invasion that ruined it.

Agent Fox Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 The current pitch is around 3 years old now and was Barca spec. Was perfect in the first season. Could do with a new one this year.

Jack1993 Posted 21 May 2014 Posted 21 May 2014 I played on it Saturday morning in a fans game, before the game Steve Walsh said "The owners are ripping the pitch up again this summer, spending a million on a brand new pitch for the Prem, yet another brilliant investment" I can't see any reason why he would lie or make it up... He didn't mention anything about it being blue though
