Monsell1976 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 No he doesn't that's the whole point. That's why I put in the rest of my post, sign or go, if the club offer him a deal that suits the club, but not him, he has a choice.I don't profess to know the ins and outs of the deal, but he appears to me he's trying to hold out/ hold the club to ransom for what he wants, but if he was that wanted he'd be gone, if he loved the club like he says, he would have took 2 years, with a view to extend if he cut it in the top flight.
J.Lisemore Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 He doesn't 'love' the club. He will go wherever the money takes him. Not convinced he could do much in the Prem anyway. My prediction for what its worth, I think he'll stay, be a bit part player and leave the following season. Hardly worth a new 3 year deal with the money he's on.

It's called contract negotiation.

In the end, it boils down to some fans being overly desperate for players to sign a new contract, whilst simultaneously neglecting the fact that contract negotiations per se are hardly ever done on the fly, but take time due to several parties involved, varying wage issues, contract add-ons, other specifics and miscellaneous points. Hardly "holding the club ransom". Take your negativity somewhere else or start looking at the business from a more realistic point of view.

I stated it was my view, if you don't like it get ****ed, I don't care what you think of my views or outlooks, a forum is to take different opinions, and keep your overly delusional view of footballers, and stick them up your arse.

Sir Fynwy Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 If I was Nuge this would be my issue. One of, if not the, most prolific in terms of goals and assists for the last few seasons and isn't getting the same terms as the other key squad members. Wes was on a much lower wage than Nuge so he'd have been negotiating from a much different position, I expect that Wes has increased his wages with the new deal something Nuge is unlikely to be able to do.

That's one of the best contradictions disguised as an anal-ogy I've come across in recent times.
Number 6 Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Thing is with Nuge I reckon he could be on an awful run of form and then still pop up with a vital goal. He seems to shine in big games. I do think he has a similar style to Vardy though and believe Vardy will be ahead of him in the pecking order next season. If Vardy improves his finishing a touch then he'd be a better player than Nuge imo.
